IBS + trying to stabilize blood sugars has been a constant struggle for years! Thank you for this video. Levels has definitely helped me better understand that sweet spot of balancing the two, not to mention a lifelong struggle with hypoglycemia. After 10 days with Levels I am already becoming much better at eating the right foods at the right time for me.
Hey Dr. Jubbal! Just started my pre-med degree at Arizona State! Can you guess what it is?! NEUROSCIENCES!! 😁 And I also did the 15 minute consult with medschool insiders! Im super stoked! Can't wait to sign up to your program! Keep up the great content, and thanks for inspiring me on so many levels!
Just a heads up - He is drinking Topo Chico which in tests was found to have really high levels of PFAS. Just saying, if health is of concern, probably drink a different sparkling water.
I’ve been dealing with blood sugar stuff for a while, but unswt has made it so much easier to figure out what works for me. The AI sugar tracker shows me exactly how different foods affect my levels, and it’s been a game changer. If you’re looking for something easy and helpful, definitely give it a go!
Hi I was wondering why the glucose spike is always so important rather than the travel time after the spike? I have no medical qualifications at all so maybe I'm missing something. Logically if your spiking glucose level returns to normal in an 'acceptable time' then the insulin response is ok, if the spike takes a long time to return to normal then insulin resistance is indicated. Pinning down that 'acceptable time' would therefore be more important.
Regarding IBD, there are 2 hidden culprits that caused a lot of intestinal issues for me. One is the wax coating they put on many “fresh” fruits and vegetables. The other is the way produce, particularly lettuce, is cleaned. Even organic produce can be coated with a waxy substance and can still be labeled organic with no indication it’s been coated. I think many chemicals are used when produce is washed in large batches and some is purposefully retained on the outer layer to retard bacterial growth. I stopped eating any fresh produce I can’t peel and the difference is dramatic. Frozen produce doesn’t bother me at all and I’ve been growing lettuce and herbs hydroponically, which is amazingly easy.
This is a great video. I am doing research on which one i want to buy or try out. It makes sense that wearing over a long time would give you more data to work with and learn from.
I’m doomed. 69. Diabetic. Chronic pain and depression IBS d lack of exercise because of pain. On and on the list goes. Good news is I’m really trying to eat better one day at a time.
You’ll be ok. Intermittent fasting and putting myself in short periods of ketosis has been incredible at weight loss. I drop weight pretty quickly. Just lost 2 lbs after fasting for 16-24 hours and then having just a protein shake. Autophagy and fat burn yes plz. I didn’t change my fluid intake and drink a gallon of water per day.
I want to buy Levels but they require your consent to enroll you in a research study using the bio data gathered from the patch. Which means my bio data is going to 3rd parties which I’m not comfortable with

Where did you see that testing? Curious if part of a longer list of tested products? Would love to see that if so, please. Thanks!

Great video! You should make one about how different types of foods affected your blood sugars
