Wonderful to see this. Echo and the Bunnymen were the coolest band in the land during this era. Pete was such a wonderful drummer. It was the four fellas playing their unique styling. I've still got the 7" vinyl of Pictures on my wall. Listening to The Bunnymen with headphones on as a teenager took me to a different plane altogether. Still the coolest band name ever in my opinion. Watching this again makes me realise just how unique they were, and still are.
headphones were brilliant then ( early 80s) , killing joke sounded like a different band , my mates in the flat didnt dig the fall etc so ...headphones ...probably where i got tinnitis from though

I saw them live in february 1983 at Plan K in Brussels. They were great! One of the best gigs I ever attended.

This takes me back. I saw the Bunnymen many times from the early 80's. I wish I'd known what I know now - one of the best live bands ever.
One of their best performances. The level of output by Pete on drums is pure exhaustion is staggering.

Astonishing. I love the "No Hands" bit before breaking into "With a Hip". These days, we need the Bunnymen more than ever.
I saw them on this tour in NYC. Thanks for helping me remember how wonderful they were live. Makes me miss Pete.
