ISO GRIFO 90, BACK TO THE FUTURE
In the late 80s, Piero Rivolta thought the time was right to introduce the brand back into the market with a new GT. Designed by Gandini and engineered by Dallara, the prototype was presented to the press in 1991 and it was meant to be produced in a limited series starting from 1994.
Unfortunately, the enterprise stopped and the car hasn't seen the light until 2010, when Mako Shark decided to produce it.

What a passion and true love for the brand to built this car! When at the end he says I've lost 10 years of my life to built it but when mr Rivolta saw it he said: "this is exactly how I've imagined it, you can put the griffon logo on it" I cried. Big respect to mr. Bonomelli!

Buongiorno, mi sono imbattuto per caso in uno dei vostri video e non ho esitato un attimo ad iscrivermi al vostro canale. Che dire, farvi i complimenti è troppo poco, avete realizzato una produzione di altissima qualità dove traspare competenza, passione e professionalità. Nel mio piccolo cercherò di fare il passaparola perché meritate molto, ma molto di più di tanti youtuber esperti di risvoltini, ignoranza e cafonaggine gratuita.
Il concept più bello della ISO dalla chiusura in poi. Veramente bellissima.

This is an absolutely amazing project!! I can only imagine how much effort you guys put into making this car a realty. I remember when the prototype came out in the early 1990s, I so wanted it to go into production. Thank you for making this happen, thank you for making me dream again.

my Dad had an Iso in 1972 in Zambia i think it must have been a lele 4 door model we all loved it it was dark blue. some of the best cars ever made

I have almost watched all of your episode about the brand ISO. I first saw an ISO on the channel Petrolicious and I fell in love with that brand and what it all represent. And now, thanks to your work, I know a lot more about how the brand ISO is born and how it "end". And it just reinforced my interest in that brand! And it is sure one of the purest and boldest one. I wish it could come back to life as a coachbuilder but it will not be the same I think. That last car, the ISO Rivolta 90, is now on my list of cars I would like te see and step in and drive once maybe! One of my dream car for sure... Bellissima macchina!

Hi Hakim, thank you very much! Since the release of the last episode there's been some good news about Iso. Zagato, that now owns the brand, is producing a new model called Iso Rivolta Vision GT, that is already available in digital form in the game GT Sport for PS4. One of the most stunnibg cars i've ever layed eyes on, 60's stylistic inspiration coupled with 80's - 90's era. That C5 ZR1 engine sounds absolutely breathtaking !!!!!! This brand was a total mystery to me and it was an amazing discovery. Now makes me wish they ever had a chance to carry producing cars; they would have been one of those brands that thinks outside the box. There was never a C5 ZR1. So I think what they meant was that they used the C4 ZR1 Lotus engine in the C5 chassis. That or they wanted to say Z06 engine and it came out ZR1. But there was no C5 ZR1.

I think my curiousity comes from the Car news Tv channel which brought me curiousity to learn this car since the car looks has designs from the 80s and 90s Only to found your channel learning about the brand itself. Possibly the underrated channel that deserve more than currently is.
I still wonder what unknown brand will come out in S2.

As much as I appreciate this car and the efforts to create it, nothing, to my mind, can approach the original ISO Grifo in terms of aesthetics, poise and purity of purpose..

Volevo far notare che le linee squadrate dell´auto disegnate dal grande maestro Gandini, purtroppo invecchiano il modello precocemente. La mia é un opinione personale...non mi fraintendete.
Invece la tanto denigrata Zagato, con le sue linee curve resta attuale.
Mi permetto di scrivere che questo modello, avrebbe ricevuto ordini tripli rispetto a quello realizzato.
Sarebbe stato utile effettuare un sondaggio, su un quantitativo di campione interessante per verificare il grado d´apprezzamento Gandini contro Zagato.
Due artisti che resteranno per sempre nella storia...

bof , ont dirait un concept car datant des anneee 80 , prefere une 400gt venturi ,plus bestial et radical sur circuit
Nah. Venturis look like kit cars next to this. Venturis are basically copies of Ferraris. The 260 looks like an uglier and more sqaure 348, the Atlantic tries to look like a 355 and the 400GT is a straight F40 rip off! No originality. This Iso Grifo 90 is original and much better looking than any Venturi. Not to mention it has a better engine too. Venturis had the same puny engine used in a minivan. The Renault Espace. I would rather have a Corvette V8!
