    But the backhand volley he uses some backspin or slice and the racquet goes down a bit.

    All depends on where he is tying to hit the ball, he is trying to keep it high to the player on the high ball. Would never try to send it back high if trying to win pt . But interesting how he goes to left hand so soon👍

      I agree. Also, I play with a lot of 4.0's and 4.5's ( I am one). And we never finish a high volley at knee height. That's more of a 2.0 or 2.5 move.

    I call this type of footwork “happy feet “. In all strokes you can’t hit it if your not in position. More players should do practice drills like this. I start all tennis team practice with mini tennis an have players volley. You got to do the drills to build the skills.

      @@2MinuteTennis that it has been a long time that we have seen americans with a great volley, mostly great volleyplayers come from europe, so there must be something missing in the teaching
