Some confess the truth themes congratulate you for exposing the truth, some treat it with intrigue... This is the theme of finding a truth you never wished to find. Or at least, that's it sounds like.
@@heehomgee4671 I consider myself a rather calm person, unmoved by many things. But that picture update... And that face... It genuinely terrified me. In that regard, I have to applaud Dual Destinies.
“I’m always nervous whenever I compose a ‘The Truth Revealed’ theme. I tried a few options, and by about the third iteration, I hit on something that felt right. That’s this tune.” -Kitagawa
I really love that the composers shared their thoughts on writing these tunes as an extra for the game. It's always cool to see how they go about their process.

As much as the story riles me up to keep digging for the truth in each case, this music track is a reward unto itself. It's magnificent, has an aura of looming authority with this mighty fanfare...and you just know that the weight of "justice" is now bared. A grim yet also "hallowed" music which really encapsulates this mix of the impending "truth" that will be confessed, yet also the harsh path which led up to it. I almost like it more than the actual reveal in each case, this sign of the "last glorious push" for our Ace Attourney.
This theme carries the vibes of the original but just amplifies it a ton. it just feels like everything you thought you knew about the truth was thrown in pandemonium and man this just slaps???

This game has so many great ost, but this one is my favorite, especially 1:16. The truth comes out, but instead of feeling relieved, it gives off a sense of heaviness and finality.
I can't remember if this played during this scene but this song always reminds me of how horrified I was to find out that (culprit) from the (insert #) trial carried the dead body around with him
And you specifically have to present a picture of you with him while the body is in his travelling case. You were literally standing next to a dead body that whole time.

This. Theme. When it plays all you know is that shit is going down.
Yep
This theme always make me think of McGilded. I think it suits him perfectly.
Definitely one of the best villains in the entire series.
Yeah, its inextricably associated with McGilded in my head too. It may as well have just been his theme.
@@FaeCube its because it plays almost whenever she shows up, especially when his past actions come back to haunt the team.

1:31 The violin climbing up the scale in the background is amazing.
It adds something I cannot rightly put into words.
Was looking for this song in the soundtrack just because it’s one of my favorite musical moments
It kind of gives the feel of pain. Like, you have discovered the truth, but is the pain caused by it worth it?
The instrumentation sells it for me, it fits extremely well.
Whats the main instrument? Is it a violin?

When I listen to this it makes me think about Klint van Zieks and his tragedy... And that makes me cry...
