well im glad to know the owner is being fair minded contributing supplies & such, though hes still getting a great deal. 1 apt i had, had stained carpet from the previous tenants even though the owner had it steamed cleaned for me. i couldnt stand it., but the rest of the apt was beautiful & for NYC, the rent was fair. i dont like carpeting anyway & esp not someones elses so i paid to have laminate flooring put down. i bought the laminate that was on sale, so that helped. i lived there a year & it was worth it to me,. what a difference it made. i never saw a tub surround thats plastic like that! & the mess with the floor! it would be overwhelming for me. kudos to you for taking it in stride. it looks great!
We have been married for a little over 51 years now. I have to honestly say that we have rented some places that, I wish, we could have done the same as you!!! LOL You guys did a great job too! I do think your husband looks like he would have liked to be anywhere but in that tiny bathroom working so hard, but he really pressed through, didn't he? That sure was a lot of work in a short time...but it paid off for sure!
I would do work on any rental also. I want wherever I live to be a nice home. That trailer was unlivable before you stepped in. I cannot believe the landlord did not pay for vinyl for the floor, the plywood will get ruined with moisture. But evidently he doesn’t take care of his properties.
It would be a good idea to just go through and paint all the flooring the same just like the rooms you have done so far. It makes it cohesive and a much cleaner look. I've been watching and I think it's really awesome that you have just decided to keep pushing forward after seeing the place and you should be proud 👏. Also you are definitely doing a service to your landlord because I can't imagine that it was livable without the work you are doing!

Great job! Painting the floor was a good idea. If you get bored (lol) use a stencil to paint a pattern on the floor. Another cheap trick is to frame the mirror - molding is not too expensive!
Bless your heart, your a working woman! But I understand what you mean about wanting to provide a nice clean place for your family. My husband inherited an older mobile home on the river as a camp. It was in rough shape! We tackled the job of replacing the floors and tearing out cabinets and painting it out. It made a world of difference! Truth be told, I enjoyed doing it. I enjoy your videos.

I decoupaged my countertops in a small park model I purchased. Super cheap and it looks fabulous and much better than the old countertops. Love how you transformed that house.
Wow that bathroom looks amazing 😍 your also giving me some ideas. We live in a mobile home ours is 18x80 3 beds 2baths when we bought it it needs alot of work. We slowly been making improvements. Couple things it needs sooner than later is a new kitchen and bathrooms. The floors have new subfloor down but we been trying to figure out what to put on the floor. Flooring of any kind is not cheap right now. Painting them never crossed my mind until I started watching your videos. I showed my husband and he said yes paint would work it's also cheap and would free up money for other areas. A huge thank you for your motivation and awesome home renovation ideas. Wow, what difference!! No offense, but did you see the black on the back side of that liner around the holes for the faucet? I hope you did and that's merely stains and that you were able to spray that mold deterrent on it. 🤞

In my 20s moved into an old 100 yr old house that had been rented for years and was very disgusting and tore up like the trailer. You did a great job on the bathroom. Not sure about the yellow tub and surround with everything white, but with the shower curtain up, you can’t see the yellow. It’s is all new and it’s clean! Nice decorating of the bathroom!

We just got a rescue dog that’s a Catahoula leopard hound! He’s super cute, came to CT from TN, and he’s 5 months old now. We’re fairly certain he’s deaf; considering that he’s a white dog with blue eyes, it makes sense. We love him more!

That bathroom is big compared to most mobile home bathrooms. We live in a double wide and we remodeled my kids bathroom but it definitely smaller than that one.
So often when God directs you to do something most people really are not going to understand why you're doing it. But that's okay he's directing you and clearly you and your husband have quite a few goals that you've set out for yourself and God will bless you for helping those people with their mobile home you're doing for them something that they cannot do for themselves so God bless you and keep listening to the Lord.
