Thanks so much. My wife has a 2017 Jeep Patriot. I watched ur vid and did exactly how u did. It literally took me 15 min start to finish. Mpc remote start is awesome.
Got it on amazon www.amazon.com/Mavota-Green-Skull-Manual-Automatic/dp/B01IT55L9C made a plastic sleeve between the knob and the lever, so when tightening the three set screws it didn't scratch up the gear select lever and clamped tighter.
Might be the battery in the fob is weak, we had the same problem after switching batteries. But, we used a cheap battery the first(amazon), the switched to a energizer and the wife can be in the other side of the house and it works. Maybe it could be the battery or the fob.
I dont know why it needs to be cut for the wranglers only. Per the instructions and the label on the wire it says to cut it. I do not know what the problem would be if left uncut.

Great to hear.
Great video!!! Thank you for including us with your remote start installation... 👍👍👍👍
Thank you Ernest.
Fantastic video!! Worked just like you said! Thank you!
Thank you, Ben.
What range do you get?
if the switch battery is good about 100 ft.
Good stuff my guy. Thanks!
No problem 👍
They are T15s and you need a 3” reach and a thin driver shank to reach the top screws
Yeapper.
Where did you get your skull shift knob for the automatic I have been looking all over for one.

I HAD TO PROGRAM 1 BUTTON fobs to the Crime stopper LC-1 for B-4852-307. Cracked the lip 4:26 then cut it off to aid reinstalling.
Sorry to hear that it cracked on removal. I've done a few more since this one. Found as long as the temp was above 50 F, it was a little more pliable.
@@jetzombie Wasn't you fault. Knew about it before watching you video. I suggest everyone doing this cut the lip off. Make it like the pre 2016 JK's
I normally put my jeep in neutral and pull the E break when parking every time. I’m wondering if there is a bypass for the neutral
I don't really know. A lot of people on forums don't recommend it.
I installed mine 2 years ago but the first press is goo the other 2 need to be closer to the car to make a good connection?

T P's I put it in when the car was 3 days old and it’s the same with both fobs I just figured it was like that. But I’ll try a new battery and see.
@@wreckdiver61 Our batteries were dead on arrival to us in the fobs.
Great video, just one question. Back where you said "cut wire" for wrangler. What was that about?
I dont know why it needs to be cut for the wranglers only. Per the instructions and the label on the wire it says to cut it. I do not know what the problem would be if left uncut.
very helpful thanks
Thank you Aziki.
Will that work for manual transmissions Jeep wranglers
Travis, I really don't think so for the safety concerns, due to no sensors to tell the engine that is in neutral or in gear.
