Presentation: 'GI-Pedagogy': Innovative Pedagogies for Teaching with GIS.

Sophie Wilson is a Senior Lecturer and Course Lead in Secondary Geography at St Mary's University, Twickenham, and Gi Pedagogy Project Lead for this Erasmus+ funded work done with European Partners drawn from schools and universities from Spain, Belgium, Romania and the UK, together with EUROGEO, the European Association of Geographers.
The aim of the session is to share the findings from work done as part of an Erasmus+ funded project to develop a toolkit and framework to support teachers to use GIS more routinely to teach Geography. These will be presented along with practical examples of how Digimap resources could be used to support this.
