This is an update on two other videos I’ve done showing how I disguise my undereye hollows area, also known as “tear troughs” using makeup! In this video I’m 62 years old. Covering the undereye area that is sunken is a challenge, but it can be done. Watch the video and tell me in the comments if you think the undereye area looks better after this makeup trick!

Wow! I truly thought you were in your forties! I didn’t expect to hear you are 62! The technique you used to camouflage your eye troughs worked amazingly well.
I have the pixie, thanks to you, and I apply it with a pointy brush just on the inner lower corners of my eyes. It really helps lighten and correct the darkness. Thanks Glory!
I love the Pixie concealer!! I also use a tiny eyeliner brush. When dealing with your under eyes always tap never rub your finger across under your eye because it pulls on your under eye skin and it causes wrinkles…

You are looking beautiful and much much younger then 62 years old, even without any concealer and make up! 👍 Lucky you! I'm 53 years old and I'm looking older then you, my skin is sagging. 😂 Great video anyway, I think eye bag is less visible on your right eye (with method on your right eye) . I'm using same this method on my eyes bags, but I put It cosmetics under eye concealer only, it's enough to cover and fill my eye bags without peach corrector. Sometimes less is more, in my case. 😊 Thank you very much. ❤️
Your right under eye looks smoother. I think using the eye liner brush made the difference. Looks good!!

It is the first time I’ve watched a video for troughs and I’d like to say thank you. I’m also 62 and struggling with wrinkles and makeup. I’ve ordered the pixi eye brightening and a few other products. I love pixi and used their products before but never a brighter. I can’t wait to try this. I’m also going to try contouring. … never tried this either. Wish me luck and thanks.
I think you'll like the Pixi corrector and you'll probably like a contour stick, especially if you buy one that is more taupe and not too brown/orange in tone.

For sure your left under eye looks better. Your skin is beautiful. I will be 62 in June and fair complexion. Do you have dry skin and dry under eyes? To me, the pixie is so drying. Yet, I have found that dabbing a tiny amt of oil under my eyes has made a huge difference in my application of correctors and concealers. Thank you for such a great, in depth tutorial of how you disguise your tear troughs. I have them as well

Awesome video! I am nearly 48 and have been dealing with tear troughs my whole life. It’s definitely getting worse as I get older, so I am always looking for new ways to help it. I am definitely going to try some of these products and techniques. Thanks for your awesome energy and advice!

There is a doctor in San Diego CA. and does facefills that takes off 30 years off a person and they looks so natural and has videos on RUclips to see his amazing work. He does fat transfers. If I could do it I would with him. His Name is Dr. Amir Karam see his beautiful work.
Gawd, me too. 48 and have had them all my life. Was easier to ignore them before I had to start seeing myself all the time in Zoom meetings. COVID has been tough on the ego for this aging diva who still hasn't figured out how to properly cover up those nasty dark circles!

FYI, the Flower by Drew Barrymore brand carries a nice sized color corrector, it also I think comes in just 2 colors, but it's great!

I have been using the pixie peach under cover corrector for over a year or so, and I love it, I always get mine in my Walgreens… love your videos…Thank you for all for information…oh, I like the eye that where you used the eyeliner brush, it looks more natural, the other side shows a bit too much product by the inner corner and along side of the nose even though it was blended…xox Karen

Your left eye was definitely better. I'm 65 and also have mild eye troughs. Both ways do something, but obviously your way of application with the Elf brush is way better! Even after time lapse, your left eye is better.

thank you SO much!!! I am almost 30 now and always had deep set undereye hollows (they look even more prominent than yours). I could ignore them when I was younger but now they really ruin my make up for me. I was trying to find the right method to conceal them for ages but those super famous influencers in their 20s really don't teach what I (and a lot of adult women) need to learn! Thanks again for giving techniques I can use for the rest of my life!! You look absolutely stunning queen! Big inspiration - HUGE!
I think you'll like it. Using the e.l.f. brush with the corrector makes a difference. And then if you use a full-coverage foundation (or close to full coverage), using a slightly damp Beauty Blender to blend it out, including under your eyes over the corrector product, will make that area look like one color.

You may enjoy the Catrice color corrector. It's so reasonable and smoother than the Pixi.
I agree about the less wet beauty blender.
I have pretty wonderful skin. I am about to be 43 and I don't wear makeup at all unless I'm doing a photo shoot. Your skin is fabulous. You are stunning. I figured you were maybe 48.

Use a makeup brush soap for your 🪥 brushes. I have used woolite in the sink to clean mine works. But a formulation for brushes is advised if you want to extend the life of your brushes

Difficult to find the right foundation...
Loved your info Nader eye area. But you need to put makeup base on your nose. because that is what you see first when looking at your results. It’s a different color even in the end.

All my life I usually wore make up about once per week. It tooke about 3 minutes to apply. Now that I'm 48 it's about a 30 minute process haha, but part of it is that I'm learning how to apply it in a more flattering way.

Very nice results but here's the question: do your hollows not appear more under different lighting conditions. When I face a window or bright light, I have no hollows, but when I face away, the shadows highlight my hollows.
That foundation is a perfect match for you. Are you considered fair? Or Light? I’d love to try it. What would you suggest for a light/medium?
I think "light". Probably the color Burnished Fawn would be good for you.

Interesting fact if you mix the pot corrector with a little spatula it’s more creamy. I love Bobbi Brown in Extra Light Bisque and don’t usually even need concealer over it. I found Pixi kind of dry, as well as the new BB stick corrector. I hope the pot one isn’t discontinued.
I thought Pixi was a little dry until I started using the brush to apply it.

you look good for your age im gonna follow your channrl
try dabbing some of the product off the back of your hand before applying so that the first 'pat' on your face is not thicker than the rest of the pats. Also try putting on your concealer before the foundation, underpainting has a far better result especially for us older ladies xx

It brightens up my face in a subtle way.
I prefer the look using the smaller eyeliner brush.
When looking at your under eyes I don't see a difference between the two methods. It looks really nice.
I really like the Pixi ‘Light’ colour corrector. Catrice also has ‘Under Eye Brightener Instant Awake. I use 010 Light Rose’. I think it’s a peachy-pink. I can’t remember how many shades they have. I also seem to remember it being quite affordable for 4.2 grams

I’ve never mastered hiding them but now I feel I have the necessary information to do so. I personally think your right side looks the best considering you used far less product to do a great job. I am a 67 yo man experimenting with cross-dressing and perhaps transitioning. Great video. I am overwhelmed with makeup tips from RUclips. My eyes are a real problem. This was very helpful

I use a very small flat brush. Eyeliner brush would take forever.
Do you know if the it cosmetics powder has flash back? I love the Charlotte Tilbury powder but it's so expensive!
I don't think it does. I also like the NYX translucent powder.
I have terrible under eye hollows and puffiness too I'm so self conscious always wearing sunglasses . I use high quality concealers and corrector but I feel it's not enough. They still peek through.
Do I need foundation too? Is that the piece that's missing.? I hate the feeling of foundation on my face but was wondering if it's a necessity to hide them properly .
The foundation can help to give you a uniform color all over your face, including under your eyes.
@@gloryb-tv It's really only my under eyes that are an issue. The rest of my skin is clear no blemishes hardly any wrinkles. Just my under eye hollows ..that's why I was wondering if I needed foundation because I feel just using concealer isn't enough..

How does it works if you have wrinkles under eyes too ? Does it settle in the wrinkles or not? I haven't been able to cover my under eye hollow and am sick of it due to different advises or concealers which really looked awful as the day went by
The wrinkles have more to do with skincare and diet. I'm 62 now and haven't done botox or fillers on my face. This method and set of products works very well for me.
Might try a moisturizer under the eye. Also mix a little with the corrector on you hand. Just a thought. Primer also.
I think the more corrector eye looks better.

Thank you for this terrific video! I have the same issue and have struggled with disguising the hollows under my eyes. I went to the Emlin site to check out the foundation, but I can't find any information there other than the names of the shades, and nothing describing the depth of the foundation shades or even describing their undertones. I also tried the same on Google Images, but to no avail. Do you know any site that provides information to help select a shade of the Emlin foundation? Thank you!
If you call Emlin, they will send you sample swatches of the actual makeup.
@@gloryb-tv Thank you for the information! I will definitely call. It seems to me that the company needs to have a more informative and detailed site. There is almost no information there on their products. Compared to other cosmetic sites, it is frankly, very weak.

You can try some concealer, like the Shape Tape creamy - bit.ly/3WHYBQd. I suggest also purchasing a Beauty Blender sponge, use it slightly damp, and blend out the concealer with it. Ulta will be having their 21 Days of Beauty starting in March some time. They usually have the Beauty Blender on sale for half off (you can buy 2) on one of the days. My opinion- I would recommend that you tightline your upper lid in a brown.
I can't tightline my eyes. The product gets too close to my eyes and creates a sensitive mess.
i WILL TRY YOUR TROUGH CORECTOR IDEAS. YESTERDAY i TOOK A PICTURE OF ME AT THREE IN THE AFTERNOON, AFTER PUTTING IT ON IN THE MORNING MY OLD WAY AND THEY WERE VERY VISIBLE. i WONDERED WHY YOU DID NOT USE PRODUCTDS ON THE CENTER OF YOUR NOSE. aLSO i THOUGHT A GOOD ADDITION TO YOUR EYE MAKEUP WOULD BE TO TITLINE YOUR TOP LASHES. pS; I HAVE A BUMPY NOSE TOO.
