He's the only captain in the world that has won all the icc( international cricket council) tournaments - the 50 over cricket world cup ( which happens after every 4 years), the 20 over cricket world cup( every 2 years) and the champions trophy ( another 50 over tournament). His thought to come up the batting order in this match proved to be right and he was the match winner in the finals . Well I feel the heights indian cricket has achieved in this decade ( india was a not as strong team in the previous decade ) is just because of him. This victory really meant a lot coz the cup was lifted after 28 years and i was really hapy and remember that day coz our little master Sachin tendulkar was also waiting to get that cup as the carrier which he had only this cup was there he wanted to lift in his carrier and which india did that day and hope we lift the 20-20 world Cup also for the second time in the next month

I was 7 at that time but my dad went to see the match and it was truly breathtaking. the emotion is indescribable. the best part is while coming back to Delhi the next day, *MS Dhoni, The man himself was sitting next to him* on the flight, I still have the autographed ticket of Dhoni on the finals ticket.
