Me and my brother actually made a half scale sherman tank based off the chassis of a go kart like yours, it only had a top speed of like 4 mph with these makeshift tracks we put on and constantly broke down. Very good job!

Stuka INCOMING Actually i read that they were named tractors as a disguise. The Weimar republic already started secret rearmenent and this was greatly expanded and accelerated under Hitler. When the first German tanks went into production (I.e. tanks like the Leichttraktor, or "Light tractor") they were named tractors as to hide the real purpose of their developement because the Versailles Treaty banned Germany from having tanks.
