When i first started going to shows when i was like 15-16 my brother was friends with a few people in fsu and they would just demolish people for the dumbest sh*t like accidentally stepping on their shoe or something and i was not a fan of that

Oh man. I do love the band, but those stories make the guys seem like a bunch of dumb kids. Def makes me enjoy their work less. Especially the drunk driving thing. That is neither cool nor funny, it is just extremely idiotic. Apparently really not the kind of people you'd wanna be around
Okay so my old band actually played that night when the security guard thing went down. It was in spartanburg South Carolina. And the guy that was with the security guard was a 17 year old kid. Both of them I knew very well at the time. Matt (17 year old) was the one that had the worst injury. The skin on his forehead to the middle of his head was split so bad that you could clearly see the white of his skull. I was keeping keeping him awake while we we're waiting on the EMTs. Its was crazy night.

as an American (and BYD fan), I must say that I feel like I would fit it in much better in Australia than I do in the US. y'all seem so much more relaxed and happy. nearly everyone here in the US is so angry, bitter, unhappy, anxious and uptight. I dated an Australian woman years ago and while it didn't work out, I appreciate how y'all go about life compared to how nuts everyone is over here.
