    It does not matter for us wether we carry loads or not, sherpas name are already known all over the world. I am a sherpa from the modern generation but my craving for learning and speaking sherpa language is still high. We wont let our culture get lost. I will teach my children the sherpa language and sherpa culture. Proud being a sherpa. Terila tashidele( greetings to everyone who are watching this)

    I’m also Sherpa from Bhutan and this video reminds me, our language is really getting the side effects of modernization. We are losing our language, couture and tradition. Thank you for the documentary.

    Totally agree with the wife of Mimgma . Being born and raised in city I dont have any insights about my own culture and language which for me is pretty sad but whatelse could they do since they were so busy on working just to provide good food and education to their children.
    I'm an architecture student and researching for my thesis on "Sherpa Architecture Culture and Trails" so huge thanks to the directors and team members who covered this beautiful story. This helped to understand my ancestors lives in more deeper way. Maybe I can do something to bring these issues into light for better life at Himalayas. Thank you and god bless!!

    In Bhutan, There is also small minority of Sherpa residing in western/southern Bhutan.
    Recently I came across one of the most Heartbreaking Documentary based on Mt. Everest, Sherpa's saving one English man's life!
    So I Prolly believe they're born with great extra ordinary physical strength and hats off to their purified heart! 💕💓🙏#Bhutan.

    I had read that there were mountaineers who were carried on the shoulder by the sherpas because they were exhausted and absolutely wanted to reach the summit, do you have any confirmations?

    • @KaupmadurDe
      @KaupmadurDe 4 года назад +1

      Leading Sherpas (Sirdars) are often the most experienced mountaineers of the whole group - so they would not choose a happy westerner over the safety of the whole group !
      If any climber got so weak that he got to be carried, there is absolutely no logic in moving him even higher, of course you start to descent !

    • @tormon506
      @tormon506 4 года назад +1

      Yes, climbers are sometimes carried by sherpas. But only down, not up. If you have to be carried up, you have no chance on any 8000 peak.
      But yes, sherpas do rescue operations to carry sick, weak or injured or dead climbers back down to base camp.

      No here we believe in buddha's and their teachings....... we don't need jesus to get rebirth. What we need is good karma. According to the sakhyamuni what ever religion u follow doesn't matter, to get rebirth a good karma and your pure soul is what is needed.

    I got up to 11:50. There's no reincarnation of any previous Lama. Or anyone else. There is death and then judgment. Only Jesus Christ can save people from being eternally lost. He alone died to pay for our sins. Otherwise, we pay for them forever, in Hell. It's so heartbreaking to see people following these falsehoods.
