    It sucks dealing with difficult customers cuz sometimes you can’t tell if they have a legit problem or if they’re trying to get one over on you. Love your positive attitude!

    There are scammers out there. The customer should have contacted immediately if there was an issue. She was looking for a refund. 🙄. You're kind and care about your customer service. You're a good shop owner, never question that.

    I always like to think when you go the extra mile you will have a repeat customer. I cringe when I see others sellers say well it’s not my fault, there’s a size chart posted 🙄. A successful business will always have to account for some losses. Can’t wait to see your first party setup ❤️

    You were born to be an entrepreneur your hustle is strong and the fact that you don’t take anything personal is so professional. Honestly it what helps to push forward and separates you from most business owners. The goal is to make sure the customer leaves happy and you display it time and time again. I’ve been MIA for a long time I like what is the new set up did you move? Looks like imma binge watch your videos. I can’t wait to see more videos on your decorations.

    you are so kind!!! I love that you extended her grace - we all need to do that more - I’m taking notes on your customer service because I struggle at times!! On a side note it is almost 100% grandmothers that have the hardest time with sizing - but on the flip side they usually leave the greatest reviews!!

    That’s insane!! Most of us who have had babies know that babies are “different”… My oldest boy wore smaller sizes but my other son was a size up, but never the size according to their age…🙄🙄🙄 please ppl!!!

    Great video... that is disappointing about that buyer, I let the buyer decide on the sizing and do not question it as my listing all have very detailed sizing and measurements on each item I carry and I add a disclaimer that no refunds or exchanges are made due to something not fitting. I would gladly remake if I made a mistake in the design but not due to sizing. You deff provided above and beyond customer service by offering not just 1 free bodysuit but 2 bodysuits.... wow. I hope you receive a positive review. I can so relate about working long hours. I work full time too, after that try to spend an hour with my little one and then make dinner, clean a little and when they go to bed, get back into my office to work some on my side business. It's insane! Your music during the working was great... wish I could work that quickly (super speed) on everything... I am in love with the sweet cart... so adorable. Great job on all you do. You are a work horse and beast at your business. 🤠👍

    Yeah at Halloween time i had a few upset customers because i over extended myself. Some gave lovely words of encouragement til this day i am still giving out coupon codes for those words of encouragement. And some of them were just so hateful that i really wouldn't want them as repeat customers. But being the bigger person always the best options.

    Hi Cyndi!!
    I feel your pain with sizes!! I have an Etsy shop also, and I make this beanie. I am always explaining what a beanie is. It is not a hat; it's a beanie. I always explain EXACTLY how to measure your head, start at your brow, go across to the top of your ears, and around to the back. I have to ask all kinds of crazy questions about hair. My messages are so long, and just this past Sunday, I spent 2 1/2 hours messaging back and forth, ugh. She wanted different yarn, different lengths. UGH... 2 1/2 hours. She did buy the beanie, but I had to go shopping first to make sure I could one get the color she wanted and the thickness. UGH.. With me doing a special order, of course, she will NOT be able to return it. THAT is actual the first line in the description. Thinking about what you do (this would be a pain), and I'm not sure if you do this already but have the length and width of each shirt. Do you know how you can give the option to personalize the item? Of course you do, and I make it mandatory. In my personalization, I say I will not return an item if the size is wrong; please measure and make sure. If you are not sure, please message me. LET'S TALK FIRST. My fault, and that's why I have 2 1/2 hour message time. We make sure, and my goal just like your goal is that we want them to LOVE what they buy. So, to get past the personalization, they have to say either okay or yes. You can make where it will only accept 3 characters. I'm so sorry if I told this, and you already knew it. I just love watching you both and want to help. I have had a few people, be really angry about the size and I have had to redo the beanie. I pay shipping, so if they want to change sizes, ship it back, they pay, and I will send a new size. My beanies are right $100 and plus, so NOITHING FOR FREE. I don't tell people I will do this; my policy does say no returns also. Sorry, I'm rambling. I apologize. Can you put in measurements on the shirts? The tutu, which are ADORABLE!! I have grown sons, and I'm old. (58). Can you do measurements, from like the pelvis to the knee? Would this help? You're just so sweet and work hard. We all do!!

    It sounds like your Etsy customer was just taking out her frustration out on you - you got the brunt of it all...what's that saying 'the straw that broke the camel's back?'. Sometimes, it's just something so small that 'tips' them over the edge. I can see it from both yours and Armondo's viewpoints. It's your business and you have to do whatever you feel happy with. My grandchild is 22 months old and wears 6 - 9 months clothes....tiny 💕! Sizing is so tricky at times when a toddler isn't the 'average' size for their age group. You're doing the VERY best that you can 😘. The sweet cart looks great, well done on fixing it up. Stay safe x

    I am like you girl. I always refund them. I want them to be happy. With sizing, I think it's exactly what you said, they baby is a certain size in "Carters" or Walmart clothes and thats what they order. When you are making things with Seamstress measurements, they are truer. I have cried from some of these horrible messages or reviews as well. You just can't please everyone, but we sure do try. Keep up the great hustle.

    There will always be someon who is not happy, but for sure YOU KNOW it's not your fault. You go far and beyond to help anyone, especially your customers. Overall you have more positive and 5 star reviews than negative, so remember that, and always remember you can't make everyone happy, but that's ok :) because you know you have done your best. You getting so much party stuff wow, can't wait to see a party set up that you and your hubby do. So much exciting news things to come :) So happy for you girl

    There is no way to really know what is going on in the customer's life and when they are ordering and choosing sizes. It could be someone just trying to take advantage. Or they made a mistake in ordering and don't want to say. Or there is a mistake on your end. Good customer service over time is great, because you build that customer base that comes back. That's the hope and retaining those customers is less expensive than getting new ones (especially if you ever move off etsy). Keep up the good work!!
    Might want to look into putting those "losses" on your taxes if it is something that is a write off. No tax expert and I haven't looked into it just a thought that popped into my head.
    Sounds like Armando could have built the champagne wall for you..good saves Mr.Moncada!!

    As a driver for a medical transportation company, I had to transport a lady with a child who appears to be an infant but was 7 yrs old so I can understand the size confusion.

    Yes thats is very difficult to deal with because not knowing the size or the customer makes it difficult, I always go the extra mile and make the customer Happy!!! Am sure she just had a bad day, thats the nature of the online business, The Great news is GOD will grant you more you lost nothing because he will triple what you lost for your Kindness. God Bless

    You get further with kindness in my opinion. I ordered off Etsy and only received half my order. Instead of freaking at her I asked if my order was coming in 2 separate packages. It wasn’t she just was swamped and made a mistake. When she mailed the fix (plus extras as a sorry) she messed up my address. She apologized and resent it again. All said and done my order was just over 2 weeks late. Her service was great, she fixed the issue plus extras and it was on Black Friday plus Christmas rush. Her service was also good twice before. People are human and they make mistakes, a little kindness goes a long way. I got my order to late to use it to make items for a market but oh well, not the end of the world, I can use the red and white for Valentines Day items instead of Christmas. 🤷🏻‍♀️ End of the day it is not worth ruining her day or mine over the situation.
    That is frustrating that you have to rebuild items you purchased but it is good he has the skills to do so!

    I had a one customer that ordered size 2T but the personalization was for 6 years old girl. I reached out to make sure if she ordered correct size. The lady responded that her daughter was born without arms and legs and the size is right ☹️ I just didn’t know what to answer, so yes there are reasons for ppl ordering smaller shirts.

    I have seen messages on Etsy that state these are the sizes and measurements, shop is not responsible for incorrect size ordering. I agree with your husband it’s great you tried to make her happy but now your out time and money. There are just some people you can not make happy.

    Re do for free what! How about you put the width measurements and length of tops etc in description, suggest they check with babies current top for fit before ordering. I think you aren't at fault and should only offer a remake at cost price so matrials and postage and that's generous.

    The same thing happened to me! A lady purchased a bar of soap, and list all ingredients, and proceeded to tell me, she is allergic to olive oil! How in the bleep bleep bleep was I supposed to know she is allergic to olive oil! Oh I can't with some folks!

    I always ask my customer to send me the wrong one back, that way I can see what was wrong (if there was anything at all)

    Perhaps it would help clarify sizing if you actually put the measurements of the apparel on the selection alongside the age sizing. In sewing, we always go by measurements rather than the standardized sizing put out by the company because it can be so broad.

    Your complaints is one of the reasons I switched niches and stopped selling apparel. All brands, the sizes are completely different.
    I've only had 1 bad review and complaint for decor. And that was a buyer not reading the description. I usually provide a+ customer service. But couldn't please the lady. You can't please everyone.

    I have had a customer order a size 14/16 for a 4 years old birthday and I have had to contact them to verify size and tutu length and the customer wanted a size 14/16 with a length of the tutu for a 4 year old so yeah definitely weird but I sent the customer what she wanted and never heard from her again 🤷🏻‍♀️

    i understand how you feel a client give me only 3 star's because the video got cut at the end i told her i use my cell phone for every thing and it was full thats why at the end of the video it got cut but the video is available on my youtube channel and she say i deleted the video i only delete it on my cell phone but the video stays on my youtube channel i am so mad she give me that 3 star next time i will do another video it if cuts at the end i do love psychic readings

    I think people get used yo buying a particular brand and don't bother to look at sizing charts. A loss in merchandise here and there won't hurt you in the long run as the positive reviews left behind will only help you to continue to grow and be prosperous.

    Since you are doing weddings I use to have a catering business I retired but I have 200 white chair covers I would like to sale for 1.00 a piece they have purple sashes with them. I will ship if you would be willing to pay shipping they will not fit a folding chair it fits a straight chair

    Measure the sizes across the chest and length and add to your listing noting the customer to pick according to the measurements not the size of the childs age.

    Suggestion: Put a SIZING CHART in your DESCRIPTION when selling that way the CUSTOMER is able to see exactly what sizes you have before either of you waste time
