I just bought a "pink lady" and I'm in the Central Valley. I hope that it'll do well and now I've got a good basis to start from thanks to your videos! I also purchased a Dave Wilson "improved brown turkey fig". I can't wait to see how they do.
I also bought the pink lady from homedepot in Woodland Hills and planted it in Gardena. Every info online says upto zone 8 and my. Zone is 10b. I was worriedly at first but I’m glad I see flowers on it but I need a pollinator for it. Now I don’t pay that much attention to chill hours. Anything zone. 8 and up Is fine for me to try. Lol
I am growing apple trees from seed in Barbados. I am not sure if they will grow and give fruit but I am will to try it out. Looking for some advice on the best way to go about it.

Fabulous! I live in Riverside and I keep getting told I shouldn't try apples here! So glad I found this.
Southern California, especially the coastal region, is cooler therefore making it easier to grow apples than in the more hot Central Valley
