Thanks so much for a brilliant review, could you please advise me as I've played accoustic and electric all my life, i bought a classical recently but couldn't cope with the wide neck, do you think this Guitar would suit me for learning classical, and what would be your recommendation the ntx 1 or ntx3 Many Thanks for your help Ian
Hi Ian - Thanks for getting in touch and watching the video. The NTX1 maybe ideal for you - I think it's designed for the electric/acoustic player wanting to play classical or get the nylon sound. Some harder technique maybe a little tricky with the narrower string spacing but if the wider full size classical felt too much - this hybrid guitar should be great for you. As for the NTX1 or 3 - this depends on whether you are going to plug the guitar into an amp... The NTX3 will be SO much better for playing live/amped up, with it's excellent pickup system (sensor/piezo and mic). The woods are different too with the NTX3 - thinks it's walnut. I did find the NTX1 quite a quiet guitar acousticly, maybe the NTX3 would be more resonant? If you could try them out, thats always best. Also check out Cordoba guitars - Fusion range - same idea... Classical guitar with narrower fret board. Good luck and enjoy!
Hello! I got the guitar second hand but the action was way too high. Adjusting the truss rod sorted it out easily. I was able to get a lower action then a standard classical guitar but I little higher then a steel string acoustic. Nice guitar - as long as you like the narrower string spacing 👍🏻
The stock strings were amazingly poor! I think the intonation wasn’t great. I changed them and the sound quality did improve and everything else was better too - feel and intonation. Good luck 😉
I Love your pickup and your strumming +finger picking sounds better
Cheers Andrew...great work....Australian viewer.

How did you find the string action out of the box?

Mine arrived today. I found the intonation quite bad, was yours like that? Perhaps it has to do with the factory strings?

Can you please do Here is a house by Depeche Mode, thank you. Love your playing.
Does the body pick up finger tapping sounds?
Sadly not - it’s only got the under saddle pick-up so doesn’t pickup tapping/ body sounds.
@@andrewcleggguitar Thank you.
@@rudyramirez9904 the next model up - the ntx3 or ncx3 - has a microphone built in. I haven’t tried it but sure it makes a big difference 👍🏻
@@andrewcleggguitar Thank you! I just ordered it from Gutiar Center.
