Jeffery, I'm headed to the land of the "foss" (Icelandic for waterfall) and just created a preset just like you suggested. I think it's going to pay great dividends processing the numerous waterfalls I'm going to see. I've already made numerous global presets that apply to the variety of scenes I like to capture, such as Astro, Animals, or Landscape but I never thought to make one (or more) that are mask specific. It's a great idea, I think I'll go deeper into this concept. Maybe I'll get lucky and need one for the Aurora! Thanks for your efforts, this one is going to help me a lot.
Oh! Iceland sounds amazing! Enjoy the trip! I hope the presets for some commonly used masks helps! I find it useful for those handful of things I frequently use to get me off to a good start - especially when there are a lot of sliders involved- get me close, with just a few adjustments!
@@JeffreyTadlockPhotography Quick update on the Orton Effect preset... When making the mask, Subtract the sky. There's usually something there that has the same luminosity that you may not want to change. Especially if there are heavy clouds. I'm using a preset with that combination now effectively.
