I feel the old one is better cuz the mini tunnel was fun and the tricky corners where thrilling to watch and third sector got faster which means redbull can now dominate even more than last year on this track

The mini tunnel was so fun!
And the worst part is that as the track gets faster, the chance of Red Bull dominating again increases!

@@KnightyD4 how did this play out? u guys are salty 1-6 in quali were seprated for .5 tenths at one point. Yous dont know f1 this "challenging for the drivers" argument is the reason f1 isnt as big as the prem league. Support change cus this sport desperatly needs it

It was pretty but was abysmal for the overall rhythm of the track. I like this much better.
What did it contribute to the track?
I think this will massively improve racing, if you can get someone to defend the inside into 15 then they will have a terrible line for 16 and you could try to go outside to get the inside of 16 or try a switch at the exit of 16
Honestly, I don't really have much of an opinion atm🤷♀️ If the team does well, I will like it, if not I won't😅 Also, I actually like seeing esports team getting involved on this channel as well! Thnx Marcel!
I think it would have been even more informative if you’d shown the layout of the circuit while driving.

I like the flow of both but the original is more complex. It works well for now
The old layout where the cars have to go under the grandstand might be back in 2028 as the current grandstand is currently under construction.
I hated that tunnel section :D
Meh don't like it but can't complain too much cause some changes were always inevitable given it's temporary built around a packed city. Surprised old format lasted thing long tbh

Understanding why and where Redbull is weak in Singapore is KEY to the next change of regulations that would annihilate this team. FIA should thoroughly look into it, for a better competition in the coming seasons.

If only they could do something like this to the Monaco GP to change the layout. They need to doo something or loose the spot. Don't get me wrong, I love the track and place but something needs to change.
The car regulations. They are the problem. They have outgrown the track, they are too large and too heavy. Racing would be better across all tracks if they were made smaller and more nimble.
The cars are the problem. They are too big and too much downforce. Kills the racing
The beauty of the Singapore circuit has been removed. I prefer the old layout
I hope they don't end up adding DRS down that new straight in real life given it's a change for logistical rather than racing reasons.

Downgrading the circuits is almost never a good idea I would say. Old Singapore was very technical and exciting qualifications were a sure thing. Now, who knows, we will see.
Street circuits are always difficult to race but the challenge is the fun

The problem is the cars, not the tracks. I mean circuits can always be modified but these modern F1 cars are too big, wide, and heavy. that's it.
I prefer a new one.
Tunnel section was awful. Imagine paying for tickets to sit at that section of the track as well. You see a car go by in 5 seconds and they’re already gone and out of view. Should be criminal to charge people.

Funny how you say richest, greediest government when your all amazing USA government... Singapore government is one of the best in the world at managing the country. Without them, Singapore would have never prospered this well. Just look slightly north to Malaysia - more land, resources, but poorly managed by the majority Malay goverment embezzling billions. This really doesn't show me how different the LAYOUT is. I'm not really interested in the E-spots team, was Mick too busy to do this on the team's actual F1 simulator?
The F1 sim would have much less visible changes btw vs the game, key thing with street tracks are the surroundings which we all recognise
