So when Omega says that it isn’t that he just learned of that event is that he lived through it (he was most likely briefly reprogrammed by GUN and forced to do that) and now because shadow is his friend he is confessing what he did
Infinite's mask makes me think of Slade from Teen Titans because of the eye design and we need Mephiles back permanently including Elise GUN Commander GUN Organization and GUN Soldiers and the rest of the humans The Sonic Series feels empty without them Eggman being the only human doesn't make sense. And it be cool to see Ron Perlman do a Sonic Villain in The Sonic Series.
I’ve never personally believe that theory. Yes I agree there are a lot of similarities between the two, but it seems more coincidental than anything else. Personally I believe the theory that the Timeter is the remains of Mephiles, since both of them have control over time. Not to mention during the time either Bossfight it’s throws a miniature sun at the Sonics, which reminds me a lot of Iblis. Anyway, thanks for the compliments on my editing skills.
Infinite's origins proves the theory wrong cause infinite used to be a regular jackal before shadow was probably the first to ever beat up infinite cause that beating cause infinite to seek more power which made him decide to wear the phantom ruby prototype, he also decided to wear his mask to his his real face or what he calls his old and weak self. I don't know mephiles' origins tho
@@QWERTY-mo6cq I personally agree with the Time Eater theory, but the only way I see the Infinite theory holding up is if there was some sort of Kid Buu / Uub shenanigans involved, but I highly doubt this is possible given that the Sonic characters age seems to be locked in place.
Infinite may be inferior to Mephelis for many reasons but his actor could actually pull off the role of Mephelis himself, maybe even better than the original actor.

Fairly solid all things considered. The voice in and of itself works, though I can see you struggling a little to find dialogue that actually fits a few of these key scenes. Infinite talks a lot of smack but is honestly dumb as a brick given his tactics never seem to get much more complicated than "summon some shit and hit them very hard." Mephiles is a manipulator with a keen intellect and complete apathy towards other living things. This was a fun video, but also goes a long way to emphasize the similarities in these characters are surface level.
You can tell just how much better Mephiles is in their behaviour, Mephiles is a being that is a sadistic, manipulative, completely insane, evil and highly calculating character. He prefers words, rather than his powers, which could easily kill everyone he wants, making him even more intimidating and giving him an extra sense of control and power. He gets into other people’s heads, makes them question everything they believe in and then tears them apart from the inside. The reason he does this is because he is so sadistic and cruel that he thinks it’s fun to see others suffer in this way. You can see this in his behaviour with Shadow, he tries to manipulate Shadow by using Humanities betrayal of him, but when he realizes Shadow has such a strong will, he beats him up. But then, he goes right back to his old plan to break Shadow’s will by using Shadow’s friends against him. He only begins to actually try to kill Shadow after this point, recognizing that since the words won’t work, the claws will instead. Infinite, on the contrary, is nothing more than a beat-down, broken spirited, sour mercenary with a smashed ego. Inside he is nothing more than a poor, weak, afraid, broken down little nobody; it’s why he isn’t much of a manipulator. He uses the phantom ruby to show how much false power he has to scare and intimidate others, and he has a big mouth, talks smack and installs fear with the phantom ruby so he can disguise it.
I've never watched or played Forces and I don't have all of 06's cutscenes perfectly memorized, so I thought you just put a filter on top of Mephiles's voice. Took me a few minutes to realize that's not the case. Oh and I didn't quite expect Infinite to sound like this, though I'm not sure what I _was_ expecting. Something younger, I guess? Not sure why.
if liam o'brien was voiced by mephiles and then infinite was voiced by dan green but i think they will swap games from mephiles he will be in sonic forces and then infinite was in sonic the hedgehog 2006
