they're planning to use parts of the destroyed one and parts of the unfinished one to make a new one
It will fly again some day. The plan is to finish off the second plane that was never fully completed, but the issue is that it's all Soviet tech.

If I’m not mistaken but I believe that a version Antonov plane is used as the destroyed and crashed planes found on the Cosmodrome in Destiny 2.

Fun fact: Boeing only made 2 shuttle carriers, using 2 747s: one from American Airlines and the other one from Japan Airlines.
Also, shuttles weren't meant to take off from the Boeing. Antonov on the other hand was designed almost exclusively to launch shuttles to space without a launch site (that would've been too expensive), the reason the vertical stabilizer is built into the horizontal stabilizers is so that the shuttle wouldn't melt it away when it turned on the engines and went to space.
I don't really know if the Antonov really fullfilled its true purpose, but hey, we ended up with the biggest cargo plane ever built (now unfortunately destroyed)

in real life the 747 will beat the AN 225 in a race, because it moves a faster top speed than AN 225, this specific 747-100 moves 602 mph at top speed, and the AN 225 moves at 528 MPH
