- The beautifully-bred Gallantly got off the mark at the fourth attempt in style in the ESL Export Maiden Stakes at Chester on Wednesday.
The son of Frankel, who is out of French Guineas winner Precieuse, could be set for a trip to Royal Ascot after this smart performance on the Roodee under Ryan Moore.
Watch closely, as you can see the horse's own shoe beating him to the line!

I love watching anything Frankel! There's a Frankel foal now in Kentucky. I can't wait for him to grow up. He is at a new racing stable that bought their mares across the pond.
Ironically I love starspanglebanner horses and always keep a keen eye on them when offspring are running here in Uk or making their debuts.

Was at Chester today and didn’t stay for this race after the vase. Saw what happened to Hidden Law straight away. It was tragic. The screens went up almost immediately. Saw him in the paddock before - a real beauty. So sad.

I was there aswell in the Leverhulme Stand and saw the tragic injury to Hidden Law.There was a sombre mood across the course in the following races.So sad 😔
