Hey Kid's great job...looking good...alignment can be a chore but with patience it will come together.....I'm glad you took my advice and left the nuts loose until the end. Stay warm....
i watched your video, and your geothermal unit, is coming out fantastic. when you said all the pieces have to be straighten out and tightened, i was thinking of a way that it could be done and line up the same over the unit. what i was thinking about is a couple of pieces of plywood, cut in triangle shapes, they could be placed on two corners of the unit, and that might make the hub, sit like it is supposed to. JUST A THOUGHT
Thanks for the tips! Good ideas to think about. Mostly we just straighten by torquing the hubs so they line up. Not sure if we need the triangle plywood piece .
Whats the possibilty that you can put a BIG tarp over the section that has one of the Geothermal tubes and using that as a heat source for the adhesive? It doesn't have too cover ALL of the dome, just enough for that section your working on.

Interesting idea- we struggle with 40+mph winds - so probably not anything with a tarp.
Congrats. The skeleton is complete.
You could throw some heavy plastic over that and use it to store stuff in this winter !
👍 Nice, big step. Is there enough warmth coming from those big tubes to warm your hands?
Not at all- we kinda lost the opportunity to capture any heat this year .😮
Please, it's not a greenhouse, it's a growing dome. Please call it the right name
How about “Greendome”?
The company that makes these calls them growing domes. There are lots of them in this area
We were thinking of calling it “eco-dome” as we will be using it for more than just growing.
@@lisx1070the company also uses the word “greenhouse” in their marketing videos.
