One thing i love about Capcom games of old is when you complete the game you unlock extra cool shit like game modes, characters, weapons and skins for free. I finished Onimusha 2 recently and i unlocked a new game mode and costumes, nowadays that stuff would be paid DLC! Gaaaarrrggh!!
This was one of my first playstation games! Coming back to it, I think you're right about it being a stretched out experience. It's a really fast-paced game, like a gun version of Devil May Cry battles. I vividly remember my dad cursing at the tiny little dinosaur that steals your keycard.
First time commenting. Just have to say, easily one of my favorite channels on the whole site, kinda rare seeing someone reviewing the ACTUAL hidden gems and overall unknown games from this media (which is something I'm totally into), and I congratulate you for that. I would love seeing you review Koudelka and Hellnight on ps1, and maybe the Suikoden games. :') Anyway, keep up the awesome work bro. o/
Thank you! Yeah Koudelka is definitely a game I want to cover some time. Suikoden V is something I've been interested in for a long time as well. Hellnight is a bit expensive though haha. But maybe I can emulate it sometime. Anyway, glad you enjoy my videos man!
I'm a '97 and this is one of my fav game of all time, back when Capcom used to know how to do it. I've been waiting for this one!! Doh and damn, that "set you at ease" OST from save data room haunts me still today.
I've been watching your vids for a while (though i don't think i ever commented before, youtube comments are not my thing) and it's amazing to see how much your content keeps improving. It's nice to see that you're finally getting some well deserved recognition! I wish you the best! Little personal note: i looooved your old content where you used to talk slower lol just a personal thing, i used to come back from work or rehearsing and leave youtube with your vids playing in the background... it was relaxing hahaha. Cheers, and have a nice day!
Thank man! (sorry for replying so late but I was busy haha) Sometimes i actually prefer my more laid back voice over too. Mostly because it was easier to do, But I think this way the appeal is a bit wider, and it works better for my style of comedy as well. I have been trying to tone it down a bit lately though. Mostly the silly voices were getting a tad too frequent for my own tastes. But this one's a pretty good indication of the direction I want to take it in currently.
Got this game as an early Christmas gift from a friend, finished it just last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. And the very next day the trailer for the movie 65 came out 🤯
I just bought this game a few weeks ago and loved it. I missed out on this game as a as a kid but that did not stop me from enjoying it as an adult. this review is forbatem how I feel about the game. it's fast-paced which is awesome! Yet also it's got a very cool atmosphere. great review Thor.
Oh yiss, another great video. Bless you, Thor, bless you and your videos. Though, i, myself, should probably stop watching your videos for a while, because... well, i'm trying to make kmy own review and i can't for the love of the moon goddess imagine any other openning/intro sequence and ending other than yours, eheh. It's simple, yet so effective.
what made resident evil 4 famous is dino crisis 2 because dc2 have buying, upgrading weapons & tools & also both dylan & regina have sub weapons. if it weren't for dino crisis 2, re4 wouldn't be a great game
a bit too much nessie killing (not cool, dude), but other than that a very enjoyable revieaux. your delivery would make for some interesting audio books. btw. any plans on bringing a version of 9:26 to the next adolf nomura release ?
I love this game!. I played it so much in my childhood, but I could never finish it because my CD got stuck at the start of the underwater level. Well no time better than now to replay it :)
You're right the game barely has any plot at all, until you get to the very last part of the game and then it hits you with that fucking twist cliffhanger that's ironically more powerful precisely because the game had no story or stakes at all up until that point.
I'd love to, but I don't have a good way of recording DC footage. I've been looking into it a lot though, so I should figure something out that won't cost me a shit ton and will look good, sooner or later.
YESSSSSS. FEEL THEY HYPE OF DINO CRISIS 2. I had a feeling you might like this. DYLAN+DAVID 5 EVAR BROOOO. I actually found the back tracking pretty good, since usually upon revisiting an area was quiet brief. Man I love this game, and u c; Did you like the collosseum? I think it's fun for about 5 minutes, but then after that it's like "well i've had enough of that." I mean it adds, but I wished they would have done more with it.

Yeah. RE7's game modes are DLC as well. Bit of a shame.

this game is still fun to play like parasite eve 2 from squaresoft.
Yeah that game is so good, it really gets hated on unfairly.

Also a quick question. are you going to get Resident Evil 7 when it drops this week?
Yes! Don't think I'll have a review out the very same week though, but definitely the week after.
I love this game. Back when I was a kid, I could never beat this because I thought that the Dinos were too scary.
Oh yiss, another great video.

Played the first 5 Resi games for the first time recently, so I'll be sure to give this a shot too.
The atmosphere was definately what i remember, admittedly as a kid

DC2 was a 9/10 for its time. its still fun to play imo
I love this and didn't like the first one
One of the greatest ps1 games ever!
Hahaha, Best spot to farm right at the begining with those sea dinos ;).
This game is a shit ton of fun!!
I love how you occasionally call it "Dy - Nok - rysis"
I love this game!. I played it so much in my childhood, but I could never finish it because my CD got stuck at the start of the underwater level. Well no time better than now to replay it :)
Tactical Reconnaissance and Acquisition Team < Tactical Weapons and Acquisitions Team

I've said again and again.
I love you.
Love me back.
Yes master. I am your Draculina.
Dude i beg you please play blue stinger or the ring terror realm on dreamcast
I'd love to, but I don't have a good way of recording DC footage. I've been looking into it a lot though, so I should figure something out that won't cost me a shit ton and will look good, sooner or later.
Loved this game as a kid. One of the first games I ever beat
One of my favorite games of all time.
Honestly looks pretty fun! And I usually don't like these kind of games.
dude please i need to know the background music on this video. the one that goes from the start to the 3 minute mark
lol "with face buttAON"
watching your Dino Crisis 1 and the 2 review, i understand that u're being sarcastic in the end ahahahaha
I played this game like a madman when I was a kid.i wonderedif i would havefunplaying it today.

Nah. I'm a lazy boy when it comes to extra modes and side content. ...Unless it's Mercenaries in RE5 That shit kicks ass!
This is something we can fully agree on. RE5 merc is way too fun. More so than the base game.
I love this game so much ❤️
i loved this game but its too easy on normal. If you play it on hard it actually plays like a survival (horror?) game where you have to conserve ammo
Plz tell me u haz twitch!
thank's for the show, this game need's a rework for today.
This game is amazing
I like Dino crisis 2
same

Why do you have to swear?
