I saw this movie in theaters in 1990 when I was 11 and almost 12 and I loved it and I laughed my head off. I was a huge fan of John Larroquette that year and I liked Kirstie Alley too. For years I have been wanting to find it on DVD and bought it a week ago. I didn't see too many movies when I was a kid in theaters. The other movie was The Great Outdoors with John Candy.
Even though I do enjoy some modern comedies, the 80s and 90s did comedies that didn't require toilet humor or vulgarity. Unfortunately, those days of nostalgia are long gone, and nowadays creators can't seem to grow up.
loved this movie so much as a kid and it's still hilarious in many places now. Kudos to the artistry of this animation. I definitely love 0:44-0:50; and this song is phenomenal. & poor snake :( 2:00
A Whiter Shade of Pail Me too I was just saying to myself I haven't seen this not since I was a kid also. I like it because I was a Kirstie Alley fan. I did like some of the outfits she warned.
I didn't see this in theatres, but when I saw the trailers for it, knew I had to try it-just replaced it on VHS, never regretted it once. I wish MGM would officially release it on DVD, but oh well. The restoration on VHS MGM is almost perfect, the EP mode copy I had got messed up, plus I lost it in a move, now that I have it again, I can't picture parting with it, we'll see.
My computer that has my video editing software on it is currently out of commission. The older backup computers I have don't have the processing power to handle it. So at the moment No I cannot. But if you get Comedy Central that is where I saw it and I seem to remember Sibling Rivalry being on there not too long ago too. It was easier to look for these things when TV Guide did full schedule listings but there are still ways to hunt them down. Good luck hunting.
@Spokavriel You need to remove the tape and clean it the with alcohol and a paper towel carefully (wait a few minutes to dry the alcohol) and put it back the tape in the case..
After I actually have my system that can break it up properly working again. The problem right now is that it refuses to power up with all the drives in. The drive space to actually make the cuts and save the work is available on the drive that it isn't powering up with.
@ladyzs76 That would be great advice if this was a tape. Um I kinda recorded it with my computer when I was still trying to get the Cable company to fix the connection. It was signal interruption on the audio that dropped it to half audio at points not a playback issue on my end. If it wasn't for me knowing that a Damaged VCR caused problems similar to this on Call for Help episodes, but it was a misshapen tracking arm lifting the tape off the recording head, so that wouldn't work there.
Very very good brings back so many good times! I strongly think you should tag the video with Chris Rea and lets dance because so many people out there would love to hear chris in this film! BTW chris is very underated here in the uk but he's still amazing! Dean United Kingdom Dean

This movie is super underrated as a comedy. It has dark humor, hilarious child actors (the neighbor kids), etc.

One of the best things about it being the entire credits is that it lists all the songs.
The songs are Lets Dance and Madhouse. Lets Dance is playing for most of it.
I'm still stuck with drive space issues that and the whole © issue are what are keeping me from posting the entire movie.

My only 2 real problems with that are © and the fact I'm having trouble with the drive the dumb thing is saved on now.
It still gets aired and chances are someone could end up recording a copy without my copies audio issues before I can free up enough space to break it into >10 min segments.
About half of the movie is missing one or the other audio channel for some of the fun scenes like dealing with the box of white powder.
