In this ghazal, Hariharan Saab has performed very creditably! As a matter of fact, Hariharan Saab has metamorphosed himself into a versatile singer with the passage of time! He has proved his mettle in every aspect of music -- be it ghazal, modern, hip-hop or playback singing in films! I came to know about Hariharan Saab in 1985 when I happened to purchase his first L.P. record for my stereo. I am now 68 years old and have been listening to Hariharan Saab for the last 33 years. What impressed me most about Hariharan Saab is the clarity, quality, depth, and wide range of his baritone voice and the style of his rendition which is so unique to him! Besides, Hariharan Saab has complete control over Sur, Taal, and Loy! His untiring efforts towards maintaining the rich legacy lefl behind by the great Mehdi Hassan Saab deserves unequivocal appreciation from all quarters! -- Amarendra Borah, Former Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department, Govt Of Assam (India).
