Glad to see this game getting the attention it deserves! Truly cant contain the hype rn! A bit bummed they moved the early access back a bit, but its all good. We’re nearly there everyone!!!!
Getting this game, decided to look at it as a step forward from the God Eater games and a half step back in terms of customisation Looking at it from that perspective made this a buy for me
Just an FYI about anyone concerned about MSP drop rate. they are quite frequent, drop from chests, defeating enemies etc. In official gameplay I have seen them drop 240 in an end game boss fight as well as seen 1 later node cost 240. Basically looks like they are passively earned while doing stuff. Though it goes without saying this game is intended to be a grind, its meant to be a massive grind of repeating quests and just grinding and levelling all the characters so you will eventually get all the MSP you need.
Though I enjoy the game, constant grinding just for the sake of it is not appealing to me. I predict that I'll play it only for a month and drop it as soon as dragons dogma 2 and unicorn overlord come out
@@Demiurge13 I am similar. I only really intend to play it this month and until DD2 releases. Play it here and there after. First new game of the year for me.
So hard to tell just how deep the system will go but I think there will be a ton of variety in character builds and also just a ton of flexibility with how you want to build and play each character. So far as of now it really seems like you can make just about any build/character/team comp work even for endgame content. I bet you could take 4 dps characters just build them each with some support skills and just use items for healing. But again hard to tell at this point.
@@votpavel It's the grind that matters to me. I love grinding in games, and even if it does get repetitive, you have eighteen characters to jump between. That's how I see it anyway lol.
1:55 this node says When the Ougi Chain is at Full Chain, the value of Link counter earned will be increased. So the amount of Link you get increases 5% (written on the bottom half)
Is it true that reviewers didn't get copies yet and will be starting to play with the rest of us? Hearing that the same thing happened with Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising back in December. Reviews were coming out on the day of official release instead of during early access. Some say it's just how Cygames handles review copies? I'm not bothered either way, but still curious. Tbh I just wanted to see more of the game as soon as possible.
I am very excited for this I already pre order it on mine PS4 pro and then eventually get it on a and I am very excited for the story and afterwards the whole level up your weapon and upgrading your character sounds like it can be really fun
PC obviously would be the best, i played the demo and while it has 60FPS on performance mode it was in 1080p which looked kinda blurry on my 4k monitor, the game ain't that taxing on my rig so i'll run it at 4k 60FPS hopefully.
Having been playing the game today and yesterday, the MSP so far seems really really good. I was a bit worried but after a few missions, quests ect. I'll have over a hundred MSP to use. You get them from leveling up, killing enemies bosses ect. They seem easy to come buy and if I had to level a criticism at the system... it's sometimes tedious to spend all your MSP lol My only other complaint to a degree is how the upgrading works. At least in the beginning it feels a bit like a mobile game, just giving you a ton of resources without really explaining what their for. But I'm loving the game and pumped to keep playing and seeing what else there is!
Elements gonna be pretty much a non factor in the very late game if it follows GBF Mobile since there all "Super" Bosses are Null-Element meaning they have neither advantage nor disadvantage element and rather hit with all kinds of elemental dmg, from what little of the Lucilius Fight we saw he has no weakness indicated same as in the mobile game which kinda supports my theory :D
So it seems that you can unlock the other characters by using Crewmate Cards, but when do you actually get one? I’m currently only an hour and 25 minutes into the game, so I haven’t gotten that far just yet. I presume by the time you get to the endgame, you’ll have unlocked all the playable characters at that point?
Just hoping the game won't be as grindy as the browser/mobile version. I want the game to be fun, and not a chore, specially for casual players who can't play many hours. Also hope they will add an accessibility option and bigger subtitles for people who play from couch to tv. Let's see. Having hopes on this one
WELCOME TO THE RICE FIELDS NEWBIES! I have a feeling it's gonna be REALLY grindy just like the mobile game. Just the way I like it. I'm like 50% sure there will be a variation of Guild Wars in the game. This is where hell begins.
I‘ve played the demo on PS5: there’s something i don’t like on the visuals where the chars looks different from the world, specially on the cut scenes. Hard to explain. Also, the fighting feels somehow very chaotic and i dont have real visibility about my group excep the main char.
@@last-yakuza-8363 yeah it looked blurry as hell on performance, put it on quality but turn on motion blur- motion blur will reduce the choppiness of 30 frames and make it better, im used to 30 frames already and its not bad at all and looks good
Multiplayer on all quest just not the main story campaign where Gran is locked in the party. Over 100 quest and is by far the bulk of the game and where the endgame content is.
I keep hearing Cagliostro and support together a lot. I really hope she can be full DPS because I don’t wanna be support at all. Hopefully people don’t expect her to be full support on parties all the time
Cag has a heal and a buff ability she's a support/attacker. Honestly no one char is just pure passive support you better keep doing damage and keep hitting. Though I doubt she'll outdo characters like Charlotta though.
I've intentionally not played gunship impact because I always hoped a new grand blue game would someday come out. I have been rewarded. Gunner for me. I also hope a trickster and beast tamer is available also
Was waiting for a while for this one but the demo kind of lowered my expectations. Probably get it on sale, I’m definitely gonna cop p3 reload after I’m done with infinite wealth.
Story progression is gonna be needed to do online play because im pretty sure it was said in one of the development streams as you progress more quests will be available to pick up
It's like Monster hunter where you have to do the 15-20hr story to unlock the quests. The bulk of the game is what you want with over 100 hours of quest and endgame fights you have to build up for. More endgame being added post launch and more characters
@@XzeonOfficial Yes I know. That is what I said. More Endgame and more characters??? Lucililius = more engame and 2 eternals = more characters lol. Also that's only what they announced so far. There's another update after Song gets added and that is what's "planned" so far
The more I learn about this game, the more it feels like a Korean mobile game. Not to say there's anything wrong with Korean mobile games, just sorta feels like a part time job to play these kinds of games.
I have to strongly disagree, purely because of how big of a part of the game the multiplayer is. The characters are important when there is no character creator or class system, otherwise it would get stale fast in the online aspect. In an RPG with no character creation/class options, it's the Roster that carries that burden and having alot of characters means alot of choices for playstyles. Especially for the casual audience, having 18 characters is a selling point all on it's own.
@tehtayziez well, the anime only really focused on the core cast, so I hope it would be like that. I don't know all these other characters and I'm worried about how the Story will be presented in game with 18 different characters
@@beezusHrist shows are a little different in that regard, but also granblue is a game series first as far as I'm aware, the anime was made later likely for that reason of just telling story as the games tend be alot more about gameplay, same with Granblue versus and the mobile game. From what we can tell this game very much wants to give its own twist to the monster hunter style gameplay loop, so I'm not expecting hugely great things from the story mode anyway as I think the longevity and the main focus of why people will want to play is the play the co-op stuff to max out characters and such.
The game does have a story. Which you follow and will take roughly 20 hours to complete if you blast through it. The rest is ''monster-hunter'' esc missions that you choose from a hub city and jump into to clear for rewards. And then there are end game raids with super hard boss fights which probably is alot of fun to play online.
I might buy it for PS4 and transfer the game later on PS5. Looks fun, addictive gameplay. But the story is garbage., I’ve played the demo the story was not good at all. Uninteresting and boring. They didn’t give a good impression on the story mode.
@@jackjohnson8305 I won’t because most games like this are mainly focused on the gameplay, co-op not story. Wait till it comes out and play for a while and you will say you’re right the story is boring and uninteresting. I like the gameplay, it’s solid. But story no….Wanna bet on 100 euro?
