Replacing The Taillights And Bulbs

In this episode I quickly show you the steps I took as I learned how to remove the tail light assembly. If you needed to the replace the bulbs you would follow these same steps

Thanks. This video gave me some DIY confidence to replace sun-damaged lenses... However, my 2012 C-30 has 3 bolts (not 2 as in your video) on the lower attachment area of each lens.

I think my c30 was supposed to have 3 but the car was in an accident (iirc) before I owned it. So you and many others may have 3 instead of two!

Very good video for removing the tail light assembly, although if you need to replace the bulbs, you don't need to remove the tail light, just open the cover, remove the wire(connector) then you have a little tab to remove the light bulb assembly. the tail light remains in place. Just if anyone is looking how to replace the lights. Cheers!

Yea I removed the whole assembly because I wanted to make them more matte and darken them. Thanks for the tip !

I’d love to but I no longer have the C30. Most plate bulbs are held in by a single set screw or clip

housing is a pain. did it a couple days ago. gotta remove the bumper and push the assembly out
