For a game with a cute squirrel, the music makes it feel like it has a dark atmosphere. The giant is creepy with his grimace, but what he does with his eyes is kind of overboard.
Wait so Mr Blizzard was the last boss? I remember when I got there once as a kid, I was trying really hard, got to that and my damn SNES crashed on me. Raged so hard, I almost completed this game dammit >.>
Man, I've seen this game a few times but I've never picked it up, but that's gonna change now. This game has some pretty freaky ass bosses and makes the game seem so much more different then a screenshot of nutz in a forest background. x)
@jsnead23 No ones saying every game does. But this game DID have different boss music in a different version. And.....why not have different music for the last boss? Why use the exact same crappy music? Only the first boss, the Spider gets unique music. Why just do him? Why not do em all? Why just do the first boss? If there wasn't a SNES version, maybe I'd agree with you. On a side note, listen to the boss music from the GBA version. Even worse than this.
Conker on the Boogerman engine is what I'm getting from this. The name tag even looks like the ones from it! The giant reminded me (sort of) of how Ender kills the giant to get past him
@SonicFan75 i'd stick with music better. the boss music in the SNES version seemed like they didn't take their time when they created. like they were trying to beat a deadline or something like that.

These bosses are much more vicious than the video makes them look. I've never got TO the third one, the water stage was absurdly maze-like and I was like "fuck this" when playing this on an emulator... but I can tell you that even the witch is already really hard. Also, DAT FACE. If I was making such a boss, BTW, I'd make it into one of those "wait for the boss to damage itself" bosses and let the giant facepalm himself to death. :D
The reason why OGRAOUM PAPAS is pissed off it's because he wants to be like Mr.Nutz but he can't , he so jealous of the little cute squirrel cause the giant knows to himself that he's down right butt ugly ,so he wants to kill him.
Don Mac Different composers in each version. The Mega Drive composer tried to replicate most of the SNES musics, but for some reason, the bosses' musics followed a different route entirely.
@ElensarFFXI yeah but the boss music in this game is fine just for the bosses. why need different music for different bosses. every game doesn't always need different music for different bosses. not all games need to work that way. im just sayin.
one of the wackiest bosses you'll ever beat in video game history is battle a giant angry Belgium named "Imgroum Pariz" I'm mean those eye popping attacks? Really! people are gonna have stomach aches.
You know what's sad? even with all the messed up more obvious things wrong with the giant, al that REALLY bothered me as a kid was his hands are backwards...Hold your hand in front of your body like that and the thumb should be facing you...not outwards...
Maybe not all SNES games sound muddy like Wolfchild SNES, Axelay or MK SNES, but a shit-ton of SNES games have a stupid tendency to do an ungodly combination of a quiet tinny echo effect that just suddenly stops with almost every note. It's like with every Plok or Power Rangers or Wild Guns, there's always thrice the amount of Genesis soundtracks that rival them in quality.
For a game with a cute squirrel, the music makes it feel like it has a dark atmosphere. The giant is creepy with his grimace, but what he does with his eyes is kind of overboard.
Mr nutz boss theme gen/MD: Come on i will be friendly with you
Mr. Nutz Bosses themes in SNES: WELCOME TO THE HELL POOR CHILD >:)
I'd love to be at the brainstorming sesh where they came up with the idea of fighting a giant Pavarotti in the clouds.
the massive head boss thingy would make a good mugen fighter
Honestly, look at the your other boss run (The SNES version), these two bosses do use Mode 7 effects, even though this version is not too bad.
Am I the only one who found the boss theme really catchy?
Your not the only one, I think it’s catchy as well!
Me too
Wait so Mr Blizzard was the last boss?
I remember when I got there once as a kid, I was trying really hard, got to that and my damn SNES crashed on me. Raged so hard, I almost completed this game dammit >.>
Well i wasn't planning on sleeping anyways.
Oh geez man, giant hillbilly spiders?! I hate those!
People keep comparing this game to Conker when this game came out before CBFD. Lol
If it weren't for the boring level design this would be a nice platformer..It has some nice Boss designs and Graphics too.
I was just passing by, but that's super informative! Thanks, I learned something today.
The thumbs are on the wrong side on the Giant O_o
The SNES version has much, much, much, MUCH better music.
Man, I've seen this game a few times but I've never picked it up, but that's gonna change now. This game has some pretty freaky ass bosses and makes the game seem so much more different then a screenshot of nutz in a forest background.
x)
@BubsyThebobcat Oh,.Thank you for lettin' me know!!
I still have the cartridge for this on the SNES
@jsnead23 No ones saying every game does. But this game DID have different boss music in a different version. And.....why not have different music for the last boss? Why use the exact same crappy music?

Mr Nutz premiered on September 10, 1993-January 21, 2000.
I'm pretty sure this is the only game that has nutz in the corner through it's entirety. This sounds like my kind of game.
Conker on the Boogerman engine is what I'm getting from this. The name tag even looks like the ones from it!
The giant reminded me (sort of) of how Ender kills the giant to get past him
Sega games are so freakin' awesome!!! That's why I still have mine, and a bunch of Sega collections for the Gamecube and PS2!;)
Is Mr Nutz Conker's Uncle or something? He is badass.
i liked the SNES version better, it had better sound and music
But genesis have better Little clown's defeat animation
Oh god. That eyeball thing was freaky as shit!
Sure. Don't forget to credit me for footage.
best game everrrrrr love the songs. and gameplayyyy
Did this come out in America?? Or did it just see very limited release??
@SonicFan75 i'd stick with music better. the boss music in the SNES version seemed like they didn't take their time when they created. like they were trying to beat a deadline or something like that.
That would be funny. I've never played the game, but based on these boss fights, he'd have a field day with it, hehe.
Good. Stuff. Dat "Attack on Titan" part - OMG.
it gave me nightmares, like 2 weeks after i watched this clip...and i have never even played the game:S
Mr. nutz' bosses could use ripping as the backgrounds need it too.
idk whats scarier, the artwork or the music. I swear i must've had at least one nightmare with that shit playing in the background.
So a giant with a very phallic head that shoots his ....eyeballs at you.....um.......yeah.
awesome game
I miss this game one of my childhood favourites
The Giant That Punk Keep Grabbing Mr Nutz
This is Conker before he started drinking
That friggin' giant......
scary music (first boss) XD

regular show?
What about it?
rented this as a kid and the giant scared the crap out of me.
First it's the music, then it's what you see. (that's my opinion)
If I would have seen that guy poppin' his eyeballs out playing this game when I was a kid, I'd be scared for the rest of my life!
The giant is so.....what the fuck.
look,it's mr angry nuts with a beard ,coming out of the clouds
These bosses are much more vicious than the video makes them look. I've never got TO the third one, the water stage was absurdly maze-like and I was like "fuck this" when playing this on an emulator... but I can tell you that even the witch is already really hard.

All these bosses are creepy as fuck, I thought Ren and Stimpy was disturbing
i know WTF were the developers thinking? "eye shooting giant fuck yeah put it on the list"
This game had bosses that screamed "nightmare fuel".
Anyone has noticed that giant had the hands inverted?
was too busy being disturbed by his eyeball fireing.
the way Mr. Nutz get's hit, sound's like he's got hiccups! o_0
I do not see why this squirrel is worthy of the appellation "Mr"
Why does that Giant have his hands on the wrong side of his body?
Why is all the boss music the same for Genesis and different for SNES
Don Mac Different composers in each version. The Mega Drive composer tried to replicate most of the SNES musics, but for some reason, the bosses' musics followed a different route entirely.
Yea he has enough weird shit in his own life to deal with with out the need to headless clowns and weird ass giants
@ElensarFFXI yeah but the boss music in this game is fine just for the bosses. why need different music for different bosses. every game doesn't always need different music for different bosses. not all games need to work that way. im just sayin.
actually he's wanna make video "no damage" but he's messup at 0:41
What happens if you touch the giant boss's tounge?
If I'd played this as a kid it would1ve scared the shit out of me.
is ur mad clown icon from Mr. Nutz?
Im looking for this game for on my PC...Is there one available?
Why did the final boss have to be a yeti?!
what's with the tounge trick he does?
why is genesis music always so fucking creepy?
The giant made me say "WHAT THE FUCK?!" out loud.
one of the wackiest bosses you'll ever beat in video game history is battle a giant angry Belgium named "Imgroum Pariz" I'm mean those eye popping attacks? Really! people are gonna have stomach aches.
Is this where Konker came from?
the bosses in the weird order
spider
octopus
witch crow
final boss
giant man
the clown
crazy
The second boss looks really similar to the witch from Disney's Snowwhite :o
iv'e had this game for GBC and actually liked it a bit.
wonder if all the other mr nutz games are this creepy...
It also sounds a lot muddier compared to the Genesis version...
This game is quite reminisent of sonic the hedgehog and speedy gonzales.
Conquers Bad Fur Day predecessor.
You know what's sad? even with all the messed up more obvious things wrong with the giant, al that REALLY bothered me as a kid was his hands are backwards...Hold your hand in front of your body like that and the thumb should be facing you...not outwards...
Mr Nutz likes to be on top.
The Giant reminds me of Bear Hugger from the Punch-out games.
I'm sure everyone who clicked on this video came here because of the game's title
HOW DOES HE SEE!?
WTF kind of drugs were they on when they made this?
didn't know that squirrels can breath under water
that face is pretty disturbing, esp because he has one middle tooth thanks to them mirroring the face

Am I the only one to find the cloud in 10:20 has a wicked smile ? This game was nice but a little bit annoying sometimes.
they must've smoked some nutz! XD
or maybe the giant tried to eat Mr. Nutz
@yurikomuro
Conker's cousin.
yes search it on coolrom
His name is actually Orgaoum Papas
you watch a video of a game called "Mister Nuts" and expect it to be sane?
Wow...I'm impressed.....
it makes me hear the real thing!
I can imagine The Angry Video Game Nerd reviewing this.
It's Tails when he get 18
10:32 Top 5 Mega Drive Glitches
ah.... This is what Conker would have looked like if he was made in Japan
This game was actually made by a French studio, I think.
At 03:35 I had a glass of water than I chocked my self accidently. Dam he is scary!
