I did the biggest Shipt order from a Target today that I ever took, 64 items and I delivered to this customer before and she tips 10%+ so I took it. The drive, shop and deliver took under an hour and she just tipped $25!! Made $48 in that hour!

Things will get better. I know I do not know any of y’all but whatever is troubling you, it will pass. A bump in the road. If your road has too many bumps for you to handle talk to someone. Get out of the house. Go for a walk outside. Breathe. You are needed. There is someone who loves you. Always.
I've never accepted one... but I did google it. "May need return" essentially means if you can't deliver it... you have to bring it back to the store. Which is ridiculous cuz you know they'll throw it in the trash.

@@SaraElizabethYT but of course it’s ridiculous because they should just tell you to dispose of it, or donate it to someone, etc. Because they’re going to throw it out and if they don’t, that’s disgusting. They don’t know where it’s been. 😠 they probably just want to make it clear not to give it to the customer if they don’t have the money because they’ll just keep ordering and doing that.
Is it possible you're struggle with mental health may be related at least partially to these apps? No disrespect....just mentioning.
they seriously stack every popeyes order with good order in my area, nobody picks up from there
At 3pm the schedule for the furthest day out should open up from midnight to midnight. My advice is like you said schedule several smaller ones instead of one big block. I used to set an alarm for my phone to go in and grab shifts.
I've never seen that in my seven years of doordash. I'll call support about that scheduling issue.
Uber has been sending me radar matches along with trips to accept within seconds if each other. Always the exact same order. I got an app update yesterday. We'll see... Nice to know the problem is NOT my phone.

Here u schedule..like way B4 maybe like 5 or 7 days ahead...and here it is daily at 3pm...u schedule and can get shifts..u can always delete the dash..if ya don't want it..toggling means on off on off..lmk it this makes sense

Hi Sara I just noticed you don’t have the camera on when you pick up & deliver orders. I can’t recall if you don’t need it when driving & sharing content. Also, you are not alone it’s been a roller coaster here in Smyrna and Atlanta with Door Dash too. Appreciate your channel! 🤓
It means if you have the new their program or your about to get it then you wont be able to schedule at All if your below 50 AR you will only be able to work when map is red and wont be able to schedule till you get up to 50 AR

@LLStacheLarry oh yes doordash has made it to where you can't schedule at All if your below 50 AR in this new teir program that they are tolling out everywhere so if ya ain't got it yet then it will be soon and you can only work when map is red for like 45 min unless you wanna take there orders

I just started grub hubbing last month. I am still undecided as to whether or not I like it lol. It seems they always want to send me super high mile deliveries and not very many low miles. Plus the orders are far and few between. Door dash is definitely more used in my area it seems. But one thing I definitely hate about grub hub is that you can't see where you're delivering to until after you've picked up the order, at least I can't seem to find a way to see delivery addresses before accepting an order (like you can in door dash and uber eats).

Sounds to me like doordash got jokes. As far as mental health I can feel you a thousand percent. It's really tough. I'm kind of coming out of it myself I have gotten some new medication, but for a good month all I wanted to do was go to sleep. Luckily I don't have a lot of people depending on me, but it was like I was waking up just so I could go to bed. So I can relate Sara I really can 🫂. Virtual hug.
💙💙 I was in fight or flight mode for like 3 days straight! Not many men talk about it or even admit they go through it so I'm happy to see this! I've been taking vitamin D3 and Ashwaganda daily all winter. CBD gummies sometimes too when it gets bad.
Yeah, I have tried some of that. CBD is helpful. Usually when I'm not Top Dasher it's because I couldn't make myself do 100 deliveries.
I have to schedule a week ahead of time to get any type of schedule on DoorDash
"may need returns" means the customer had some sort of issue that the incompetent support staff was unable to address. like trying to change their address after placing the order. often times when i accpet these the customer messages me upon acceptance and asks me to deliver to a different adress due to using their home addy when their at work or vice versa.
i advise taking them because the customers generally adds more tip for hassle

Yep I have the same problem in my area of Clarksville Indiana with Uber Eats it's all trash

I predict by the end of 2024 if you aren’t in that DoorDash rewards program you won’t be allowed to schedule a dash at all and everyone not in the program will have to dash now.
Grub hub you have to schedule to not get that.

I keep getting orders that say may need returns but it seems to mean nothing there's never anything to return to a fast food restaurant
In my experience one of those orders was for a customer that bought fast food for someone that ordered through something other than doordash. There was a note saying that previous orders were returned bc of delivery drivers saying its from doordash instead of from whoever ordered 🤷♂️
do you have the tier program in your area? it sounds like that or doordash is maybe making the switch to the tier program because if you dont have the stats in that program you cant schedule ahead of time.
It isn't in my area yet and I definitely don't have the stats to qualify for it.

Careful at the Winn Dixie shops, they don’t allow you to do them .
When someone walks by I pretend like I'm on FaceTime with somebody and start saying things like "I'll send you a picture of this one too because I don't if it's the 1 you want". Also I have no problem leaving if I'm asked too.
