    I could be wrong but from the low point of origin/point of ignition I would say that It was lit by a bbq or portable burn pit like a Solo stove set too close to easily ignited combustible materials. Some people are absolutely brilliant. The only other ignition source would possibly be a super heated outlet but it didn't extend into the walls void space so that kinda cancels that one out. Thank God. Great job to the fire department for getting there quickly and stopping it quick before it really got going. Great save.

    Great stuff! And Great content! I just became your 600th sub! congrats on the milestone!
    (Also looks like fire was a possible electrical failure is my guess)

    03:06 ..... The guy throws a cup of water on the fire and signals arriving crew: "It's okay. I've got this."

    When that CHP pulled up first he should have gone and checked on people if any in the structure. Life safety should be first.

    I think the fire died of boredom before any firefighters could get to it...

      now that is just an ignorant comment
      had the firefighters not arrived so quickly the douche bag and rest of occupants would have lost all they owned

    The Tillerman just had to go, according to the thumbnail. It is really difficult to find a semi-private place around a fire scene.

    I bet they were BBQing on the balcony. You can almost make out the legs of the BBQ through the balcony rails.

      Not sure, its possible but from what I saw, they only realized there was a fire right before the FD arrived, so they started throwing pans n pots of water on it. There were workers working on the roof and there were some wires if you notice, so I'm just thinking possibly there may have been a bad electrical outlet they had plugged into or just something entirely else.

    Why so many trucks? Was the alarm message so huge?

    • @The411YouTube
      @The411YouTube  Месяц назад +2

      Its standard for Glendale on a first alarm residential fire to send 1 Battalion Chief, 3 Engines, 2 Trucks and a BLS (basic life support or ambulance). You never know what you're arriving to so it's best to arrive prepared for a certain level and then release engines/trucks as needed or add additional to the call.

      @@The411RUclips wow, that's a lot. Thank you. In my country (very small so maybe that's the difference) they always come with two, a ladder and a generic one of course not when the message is like an appartmentbuilding is on fire)

    Who were the guys on the roof? That's not normal.
    Even worse some folks still in the apartment on fire?

    • @The411YouTube
      @The411YouTube  Месяц назад

      They were working on the roof at the time of the fire. Not sure if there was an electrical short or issue, or if the workers called it in, but yep. Yeah the people inside didn't realize until right before FD arrived, so they started throwing pots n pans of water on it.
