Hello! My ONN tv wouldnt turn on, but the power light where the power button is located would continue to blink. I had Geek Squad look at it, and they said it was the power board. I replaced both boards main and power supply and it had the red standby light but when I try to power it on it shows a black screen then powers right back off any suggestions?

Since you have replaced both Main and Power boards, the next thing is your TCON Board. However, not all TV’s have that little green TCON Board…our doesn’t. The TV in this video doesn’t have a TCON Board. If thats the case for you, we recommend opening TV back up and double checking all electrical connections are properly secured and not damaged, nor showing any signs of overheating/burned discoloration on wires or board. If all looks good, next part to replace is your IR sensor. Hi there same issue! I purchased this TVs year ago and I can’t remember the exact model name but it’s a 65” Hisense. It has been working perfectly fine for the time being but recently just 3 days ago upon watching tv the screen got darker, I turned off the tv and turned it back on and it just got darker and darker. Now I can’t see anything and all I hear is the tv. Day 3 now, it won’t turn on at all, anytime I use the remote to turn it on the red sensor light on the tv starts blinking. I already tried all the suggestion’s that I searched on Google. Any help?? I really don’t want buy another Tv, this compared to my last Samsung was great, and i already need one for my bedroom so that would make 2 new TV’s that I need since I just moved it’s just more unnecessary expenses and i don’t drive so it’ll be real impossible to get a tech over but I have no problem doing it myself I’m pretty confident but I just don’t know what the actual issue is
Thanks for watching, that’s no fun. It’s possible that the power board or main board is faulty. It’s likely that the power board feeds power to the panel and replacing that will get your tv back up and running properly. If the power board doesn’t fix issue, main board would be next.

Thanks for watching, any update. Kinda sounds like an electrical connection inside the TV is loose. Removing back panel to gain access to the internal portion of the TV to inspect your connections might be the next step .

Since you have replaced both Main and Power boards, the next thing is your TCON Board.
However, not all TV’s have that little green TCON Board…our doesn’t.
The TV in this video doesn’t have a TCON Board. If thats the case for you, we recommend opening TV back up and double checking all electrical connections are properly secured and not damaged, nor showing any signs of overheating/burned discoloration on wires or board.

Differs per tv…. Look on back of ur tv… it should have the model number.
Use model number and tv brand name to search up the part.

The tv will work for 30 minutes and off by itself starting blinking the red light 3 times continuosly
