I purchased a power board and replaced it, but its still doing the same thing. Any ideas on what could be the issue, or could it be the main board that is the problem. Thanks!

      Good morning, just poured a cup of coffee and am sitting down to answer any and all questions for the DIY community.
      Since you have replaced both Main and Power boards, the next thing is your TCON Board.
      However, not all TV’s have that little green TCON Board…our doesn’t.
      The TV in this video doesn’t have a TCON Board. If thats the case for you, we recommend opening TV back up and double checking all electrical connections are properly secured and not damaged, nor showing any signs of overheating/burned discoloration on wires or board.
      If all looks good, next part to replace is your IR sensor. Below is a helpful DIY guide on how to do that.

    Hi there same issue! I purchased this TVs year ago and I can’t remember the exact model name but it’s a 65” Hisense. It has been working perfectly fine for the time being but recently just 3 days ago upon watching tv the screen got darker, I turned off the tv and turned it back on and it just got darker and darker. Now I can’t see anything and all I hear is the tv. Day 3 now, it won’t turn on at all, anytime I use the remote to turn it on the red sensor light on the tv starts blinking. I already tried all the suggestion’s that I searched on Google. Any help?? I really don’t want buy another Tv, this compared to my last Samsung was great, and i already need one for my bedroom so that would make 2 new TV’s that I need since I just moved it’s just more unnecessary expenses and i don’t drive so it’ll be real impossible to get a tech over but I have no problem doing it myself I’m pretty confident but I just don’t know what the actual issue is

    • @DIYwithMichaelBorders
      @DIYwithMichaelBorders  10 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for watching, that’s no fun. It’s possible that the power board or main board is faulty.
      It’s likely that the power board feeds power to the panel and replacing that will get your tv back up and running properly.
      If the power board doesn’t fix issue, main board would be next.

And as for the power board they’ve said about $300-$450 just to fix and I don’t trust these second hand places because they’ll just lie and say something else is “wrong” so where would you suggest to get a 75” Hisense back panel/Backlight?
