Yeeeeees!!!! About time! As much as I love the Soft Piano, it isn't the most versatile sound for other scenarios. This is the kind of piano I would use to score Ghibli movies. Love it
For us old rockers who stood in front of too many 100 watt Marshall's for years (double 50's actually. Tone much better that way.), the brightness that a Yamaha brings helps us. I grew up loving Steinways, and still do, but when I played a Yamaha for the first time, I loved it as well. I wind up trying to play the Steinway too hard and the touch can be a bit heavy on them. The Yamaha is just easier to play, maybe because of the extra highs giving it a certain clarity. But love this! Will be downloading right away!! Thank you!!!

That's an awesome addition to the collection, people! Everybody recognises a Yamaha piano, and the recording of it is, as always, quite well done. Thank you so very much for such a staple sound! You were even able to capture it with some softness, which is rather remarkable! Wowses.
Between this and the originals intimate piano I believe I've found what I've been looking for with a few ideas I have that other vst's wasn't workings for me. Cool!

A very beautiful piano for LABS. I can't believe some of the negative comments here - how can one criticise LABS giving ordinary people like us a chance to play this piano ?! Just an amazing free instrument. Spitfire Audio and LABS will get a big donation when I'm rich and famous :-)

I downloaded it in fl studio and for some reason the sound of that piano is very very different from this demo here. Nothing remotely close to the fullness and roundness of the sound in this demo!!!! ANy Idea why? are there extra steps to set it up?

I wish they’d show clips of the process of them recording the piano and sampling it. Give us some type of reassurance it’s actually the piano they’re advertising…

Sounds like 1 velocity layer only,all notes sound the same,very little dynamics and expression. Thanks anyway.
It has multiple.. maybe try to check the settings of the plugin before making comments brother
