It has no nerve endings, so not that painful, and unless you have enough strength to force it through the skull, it doesn't actually do anything beyond removing the stabee's depth perception.

Eventually he died in October 1513 in a siege and he was buried in the church of Santo Stefano in Venice, near his old headquarters. Claudia was left in control of the Italian Assassins from ezio's constantinople journey onwards until 1512, introduced him to the son of Lorenzo De Medici (who ended up becoming pop leo IX) and later eventually married again, and stayed with her new husband in Rome. but took frequent trips to visit ezio, sofia and the children and vice versa. Leonardo spent his last years in France, at his home awarded to him by King Francis I, who became his generous employer and close friend. In 1519 he was bedridden and wrote to Ezio and Machiavelli to visit him for one final time. Leonardo would ultimately pass away with Ezio and Machiavelli by his side Machiavelli returned to firenze and became a diplomat and government official, before being deprived of office and arrested in 1513 on accusations of conspiracy and he was also tortured. After that he retired to his estate to write manuscripts, books, and eventually became a playwright, with Ezio wanting to go see them (as mentioned in the start of embers) He then died on 21 June 1527 at the age of 58. He was first buried at the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence before his body was moved elsewhere. His final resting place is unknown Caterina Sforza lived in Firenze and petitioned the pope to give Forli back to her, but she was unsuccesful due to the people protesting against it, she remained in Firenze, where she eventually died of pneumonia on 28 May 1509
He was working on a farewell letter for Sophia because he knew his life wouldn't last long. The arrival of Shao Jun might helped him finish it. His death was very interesting though, because: 1. The man sat beside him seems like a representation of Ezio when he was young (or Death so it seems). You can also see that he also has a scar on his lips, with arrogance like he was back then and always talking about girls. 2. There's also an Assassin who sat and died, same like Ezio. They've both done their role and also they both did the last objective: "sit a moment and rest". And to add more about it, the man sat beside him said the line "Coraggio vecchio" (Courage, old man), which was almost the same as the last words of Maria, wife of the Assassin that I know you know. :D
To explain Shao Jun. She does have a game, but it's a side game. It's called Assassin's Creed Chronicles and It's actually a trilogy and her game is the first in that sub-series. I don't want to give spoilers for what Ezio gave to Shao Jun but all i'm gonna say is you get an explanation from the Chronicles games and Assassin's creed rogue

last one is close. It's in front of the church where he saved the medici family later in AC2, The spot where his brothers and father died is on the other side of the church a couple of blocks away. However he is about 50-200 meters from his childhood home.
That random dude at the end was a reflektion of younger ezio. It has also been theorized that he’s a templar and poisioned ezio, almost like a templar version of Young ezio.

The insane amount of passion that you can just feel throughout the ezio trilogy is amazing and even going as far as making this animation to end his story properly. Need this type of passion with the new AC games
To me his laugh is both him realizing he lived through thus fight but also the fact he can still fight (just like the old days) remember being a assassin for a long time, it has its dire moments but you can not deny Ezio would have still have good memories of that life. Since one’s past life cannot be forsaken but cherished to me his laugh there is his acceptance of his past and present life. A truly magnificent and wise person.

i think the guy was gonna kill him but noticed his health and just let nature take its course. no point in assassinating someone whos already pretty much dead.
Ezio was what got me started into the franchise and the only I’ve played are his. He will always be top assassin to me. Thanks so much for getting back into the games. I appreciate them now in ways my younger self never could.

God, Ezio’s ending in this special was so great. The only thing I wish that could have been added in here was him having a reunion with his family in the after life. But still a great special nonetheless. Also, I know this is a little late but I wanted to say congratulations on the baby Jessica!
I don’t know if you had played the dlc for AC Revelations yet, I probably had to look at your videos for it. But all I can say is that, if you haven’t, I recommend you should because of a twist that will happen in AC3 that you probably wondering when that happens. I read once that specifically long term vineyard working was what shot his lungs and accelerated his end....
