David Gilmour and Roger Waters ruined their relationship nearly permanently over mixing decisions. As for this, I cannot stand Chad Kroeger and Nickleback, but his voice is usually quite upfront and powerful. I stand by my earlier comment, this seems like it was a creative decision to make his vocals a touch less upfront.

If it hadn't been labeled, the only distinguishing part would be Chad's voice. This didn't sound like Ian at all to me, and really only the arpeggiated chorus part sounded like Big Wreck to me at all.

It's literally just Ian and the bass player. They lost one guitar player due to cancer another quit and the drummer left last year.
