Man.. that was really the golden age of gaming. So many amazing games came out back then. He's going through games that he just casually likes, like he thinks they're pretty good but doesn't think much of. Nowadays those same games are considered legends and we all wish game devs would come up with games that good, but it rarely happens. The PS3/360 generation has an endless list of absolutely amazing games.
Last one I got was "Lateralus" from Tool :) Oh, and I came a little when you showed the "Hate takes it's form" album. That's the best death metal album I've ever heard and Dawn of Demise is my favorite Death Metal band ever!
Death's "Scream Blood Gore" from 1987. (fact) it's the absolute first Death Metal album. It's brilliant. With songs like "Zombie Ritual" and "Mutilation" it just made my day!
I love when you give me tips for new bands so it's good both ways. As for the question: It might seem lame to you but my last CD purchase was Shine On by Jet. Little more garage rock than metal but I like it. Don't worry about me though, I've got plenty of Rammstein and Venom and other heavy things too.

Last album I bought was Atheist- Unquestionable Presence, classic oldschoold DM album, I highly recomend to anyone who likes Metal in general, and is absolutely essential to any DM fan's collection. Great mix of Jazz and DM as well as other genres, something there for everyone.

Ravnenes Saga by Svarsot was the last album I bought which was actually today. Svartsot is a cool Folk Metal band from Denmark. They're good if you're into that stuff.
The last album I bought was Sic - Fighters They Bleed, and before that, I bought Týr - The Lay of Thrym, and Týr - By the Light of the Northern Star. Some great metal from Faroe Islands. Ofcourse there are alot of other great bands here, like Synarchy, Reduced to Ash, Earth Divide, Asyllex, Incurse, Hamferđ, Heljareyga, etc.
If you like supporting unknown bands, please help support this band. Crossbreed. They are from Tampa, Florida and they formed in 1996. They have 4 albums, but only 2 are available for purchase anywhere. And yes I mean anywhere. I've looked on multiple sites, including torrent sites, and no one has the other 2 albums. But back to Crossbreed, they are a 6 person industrial metal band that I think should be a lot more well known. So I would recommend everyone looking up on RUclips their song Saint
Stone sour - House of gold and bones part 2. All time great. Not that heavy, but I like it. Part 1 is also great, and the story that comes with it is really well written.

My girlfriend bought me 3 albums last year for Christmas. Amon Amarth: Twilight of the Thunder God and Versus the World and then Nevermore's Dead Heart In A Dead World. And for those of you who don't know Nevermore, You should check them out. Especially if you like neoclassical guitar.
I got 2 at the same time which was Entombed: left hand path, and Carcass: Heartwork. Always good to pick up some heritage albums!

Last cd I bought was the one made by a band from my town, it's called "Glass World" and the band is Ghost Booster. ( Not Buster, "Booster" )
Cool cd, a mixture of multiple genres of Metal, including Death, Progressive, Thrash, Jazz contaminations, Heavy.. Not even they know, they actually call their genre "Idk Metal" 'cause they don't really have an idea of what they're doing.. Still they do it pretty well :3
