for that you need android studio and a virtual machine installed. it will automatically open if you have those and run a flutter project

Hi@@kaushiksenthilkumar682, can you please help me out here? so I am trying to run flutter app(vsc) in an external device and tho I have switched on the developer option the bottom of the VSC shows no device. Is there a solution, when I run flutter devices it shows Chrome (web) and Edge (web). but it does not displays the external device.

Yeah Android Studio eats alot of Ram atleast you should need 8GB minimum or else it will be slower than a snail and pc will hang🥺

Or use bluestack(slows down ur pc)
I had to face the problem a few months as my pc didn't supported BIOS which was essential for an android emulator

If you get an error while creating flutter project that says the term 'flutter' is not recognized as the name of the cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program and you are sure that your path is correct, try restarting VS Code - was able to create a new project just fine after that
Yes, the terminal inside vs code could be like that at times. Just restart it 👍

Use ur android phone instead in debugger mode
I guess you have to open the emulator through Android Studio & then run the app through VS CODE

When you say we can plug in our phone via usb, is that only for android devices? or can ios be used also. Lastly, i was wondering if i plugged in my phone would i still run it using flutter run? thank you so much for your amazing video

Guys if it says flutter is not a recognised whatever and you're 100% sure you're path is right, make sure the flutter folder the compressed folder makes is put into a different directory than that of the compressed folder.
In short you don't want Compressed\Flutter\etc
You want Flutter\etc (etc being the bin)

if i am creating my project folder in downloads it gets created succesfully, but when i create in in dsktop then it giver error, anyone has any about this?

oppened the terminal
typed the 'emulator -list-avds' command inside the tools file and nothing appeared,
still trying to understand what is wrong :/

If you are trying to run on windows you need SDK for that property installed

Is it possible to build a windows executable using VS Code + gcc/mingw?
The only information I've found all say to Visual Studio 2022.
VS code is a simple ide, you can make anything with it.

For those wondering, in the VsCode, a button is written: "no device" at the bottom right corner. Click on it and choose your emulator and launch your project. It will open.
