I have one, it's actually nice and durable. I'm 250 lbs an I rolled on top of the net an it held me. No shit either. I recommend one for a cheap hammock

    I have this hammock.
Ive modfified this hammock for an extremly fast set up.Ive changed the tree straps as theres no way id trust the ones that come with it and ive also changed the para chord for the bug net to shock chord. Also i made 2 spreader bars for the bug net out of 2 peices of old fibreglass tent poles.Ive had this hammock for 4yrs and can not fault it with the mods i have made. This hammock now is easily as good as some of the top brand ones for a couple of quid mods.I highly recommend it.

Yep, I'll send that. Did almost the same and found it to be great. I got what was supposed to be a double hammock. But not really sure its any different from this one, I didn't actually check the sizes as it seems to be big enough whatever it is :) I'd change the carabiners from the heavy steel ones supplied to some lightweight aluminum ones and some straps to replace the rope and its good to go.

I just got one on Amazon for £4.50😂 I already had one managed to get two underquilts for £35 on a special offer so had to buy this for £4.50 for my second underquilt I just hope my luck dosnt turn into snapped straps and rude awakenings 😅

Excellent video. The only thing I would recommend is using some elastic shock/bungee cord for the net. Just incase someone ties the net suspender strings too high and when they sit in the hammock it pulls on the net too much. Otherwise it's a great hammock, just got mine today

I was thinking, perhaps you could go to an archery shop, and get two used arrow shafts. Have the bow master glue a nock on each end. They could be used to hold the mosquito net apart.

I just ordered one £12.99 eBay. As you say see how it goes but getting older might be better for my back. Did it have a tarp? No matter I have 3.

I started out with a cheap Chinese hammock and loved it,,, moved on through other hammocks now,,, currently using the dd frontline xl,,,,,, but I would never recommend using the solid cord they supply with the bug net, for just a few £££ please anyone looking at these swap it out for bungee cord,,,, will save stitch stress or worse, rips nice first look vid though atb Mike

Thanks for posting. Wondering what the stitching is like ect? Seems seriously dodgy materials. Just curious as I’m broke and want to get something to try hammock camping.

I have the same one from when i 1st started out with hammocks. Used it for 6 months without problem until i upgraded to a DD one. Only mods i did was use daisy chain tree straps and made some spreader bars for the bug net out of some carbon fiber arrow shafts. I still use it now for day camps as its packs so small and its light. Regards JB.

I've got this hammock, it was my first one. For its money its a great deal. Better to use with tree straps to be fair lol, the sound of slipping ropes scare the hell out of me lol

I think shock cord would be the better option for the bug net’ but pretty good for a £12 hammock.✌️✌️✌️

Interesting, do you have a link - I can't find it on Amazon (or I'm blind)? I mostly do moorland camping, but have thought about trying woods camping with a hammock, but like you said, didn't want to spend a lot of money only to find out I didn't like it.
