    Years ago kevlar was very rare and expensive. Today you can buy (for example) kevlar gloves to protect your arms kinda cheap kinda everywhere.
    I guess I'll wait the same effect for that cuben-dyneema. Very impressed with it so far via youtube reviews. Waterproof & stretchless & light.
    But how long to wait...

      when it comes to hammock camping. The tarp has the biggest learning curve. But because of that. There are so many ways to hang and pitch your tarp, so you will be able to handle any situation. No matter how severe.

    I always thought of it as Cuban Fiber. I like the Hex design - just looked them up and found some suppliers - Hennessy being one. End to end that was a well informative video bro. You did well on this one. Thanks for sharing. All the best for the week. Mark

    • @AdventureswiththeMarine
      @AdventureswiththeMarine  5 лет назад +1

      Even though the name changed. I will more than likely always call it Cuben fiber. Even though you will lose some material for protection. The Hex tarp handles very well in strong wind. Plus they now become lighter to carry. I always enjoy hearing your insights and comments. thank you Bro. Have a great week.

      You're a traditionalist bro and why not. Yes, the Hex design looks good. What's the word Ergonomic - built for purpose. A pleasure to watch and comment...

    I see a lot of people in this kind of videos setting their hammocks real loose, almost U shape. I make mine pretty much a straight line when I'm not in it. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but if I set it as loose as it is here, it will be more like sitting than like laying down.
