  • The company leading the massive redevelopment of the Downsview airport lands is preparing to shut down the airfield in mid-2024 as work to transform the 520-acre site over 30 years ramps up. Nick Westoll reports.

    As a pilot this makes me sad, but we need the housing. Hopefully it will be affordable...

    All for cheaply built pizza cutter houses sitting on top of each other packed full of newcomers. Ugh I'd much rather keep the airport operations

    Buttonville Airport shut. Downsview shut, Island Airport could be next... Pearson only one left soon. That 2030 carbon passport flying is really taking shape. And it sounds like a 15 minute WEF city.

      The island airport wont shut down. Ik I worked there 6 years
