    One of my favorite twenty movies of all time. The French scenery added to it.

    4:40 - I like the idea of the birds in thre cage going mad because 'the cat' (Cary Grant's nickname in the movie) is near. ;)

      If one time travels, it would be a great homage to Hitchcock's The Birds. But that was 1963 and this was made in 1955.

    If Cary Grant was not smiling in this scene. I don't think that this movie would have worked.

      Yes, just checked on the internet, and he apparently made regular cameo appearances in his films, although only once in this one, as can be seen above.

    Why was he dressed like that? Was it supposed to be "French accoutrement"?
