God! You guys know nothing about films, this is a great movie made by one of the biggest legends in Hollywood, maybe not a masterpiece but it's definitely up there in the big leagues.
I'm not totally sold into the story of this movie, but I love the classic cinematography of the old French Riviera. Technicolor film used in this movie is superb.
I remember that scene in the water when the french girl says to Grace Kelly Perhaps you would like to stand in shallow water and discuss it? What did she mean by that? Hmmmm?
I stand by my comment on to catch a theif. It wasn,t as boring as other,s i,ve seen in my 68 years on this planet. Still hate kelly, and love grant. So little suspense! If you just want to see great fashion and scenery, it,s definitely up there, lamb. Did see the whole thing and the ending was a ltl more interesting than i thougjt. I recommemd, ,"rear window"
The mother is more his age, and would probably be more fun. He,s got enough charm to lite up all of france. But kelly? Her voice grates on the nerves and her looks are about as lively as a statue. Now i know why i never bothered to rent this film, it,s boring!!!
I love this scene. She's such a brat! XD But the best line was cut off at the end; "Mother, the book you're reading is upside down!"
I love Grace’s beautiful white dress. Her acting is awesome too! She’s a stunner!

Excellent cast....Cary Grant was a superb actor......
Clipped off the most hilarious part “mother the book you’re reading is upside down.”
Mother, your book is upside down. Classic.
Can we all appreciate "I will run my own interference, seems like the blockers have all the fun."
Cary Grant STEALS PRICELESS HEARTS not useless JEWELRY
After Charade with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn this is my second favourite movie .

Just a reality check: in the book this scene does not exist and the daughter is a brunette.
