- This is how I put the stars on my American flags. I use a 50 star stencil to build my flags. This is how I use the star stencil that I use on our wooden American flags without bleeding through.

You should try a Critter sprayer, it would last you a lot longer than what you are using now.

You are welcome, it is a siphon type of gun the paint only draws through a tube so clean up is a lot quicker and easier. Check them out on Amazon

That’s the first time that’s ever happened. What is your order number. They are supposed to measure each one of them but I will go back on the video footage and make sure they did. What Is the measurements of the stencil you received
Very nice work! What roll stencil material is that for vinyl cutter? Do you put any clearcoat on blue area first before sticking star stencil to it?
813 No I do not put polyurethane on the Flag until everything is dry
@@EddyFamilyFarm Thank you for your response! So just apply stencil to raw blue stained wood? It doesn't bleed any paint under or pull off any blued wood when removed? Some other stencil I tried on a sign didn't work very well so been looking.
@@makertime6296 One issue to be aware of that I ran into when using the stencils is not to apply it to a painted surface because it "will" peel off the paint when you remove the stencil. I spray painted the blue background for the union and will now have to sand off the paint and use stain instead. I don't believe stain will pull off when removing the stencils.

Brandon why use the tranfer tape as a masking for the spray paint. I know that stuff isnt cheap, you could do the same masking with newspaper and painters tape.
Or use light weight plastic dropcloths, and keep alot of profit in your pocket
The newspaper tears after a couple. I use the same transfer tape for about 40 flags

DOES THE STENCIL GIVE REALLY CRISP LINES ON THE STARS

Curious about the stencil machine and software. I have AutoCAD and can create dxf files or similar if they would be of any help.
Kevin Hayes The software our use is Vinyl master. By far it’s been the best software so far
@@EddyFamilyFarm I looked up the program and it looks like it can import or upload DXF files. I can export to that format if you have something your software cannot draw. Just being helpful, no charge. Love what you do.
