I saw Evergrey live last week in Mannheim and it was awesome! The bass sounds amazing and Johan is a great guy. I'm sure that this is just the beginning for Solar guitars. I would love to see Johan on Coffee with Ola. Cheers!
Evergrey's great band, no doubt, and Johan's cool player. I can't understand only one thing. Why sound of the bass guitar is not so prominent in the mix of the video? I think it should be a little bit louder taking into account that this video is actually a demonstration of the bass guitar, isn't it?

@@johanniemann4041 Damn, that‘s low. You could call it almost seismic I guess :). This kind of low end really adds power to the song! But it‘s really nice that the Solar bass supports such low tunings. For my own, I had some trouble fitting BEAD strings on it, and then intonation was a close call. Thanks for elucidating!

What's he tuning to? This sounds lower than BEAD, but it's hard to be sure. Anyway, cool bass!
I think they say they use both G# and C or C# ? maybe
My ”standard” tuning is BEAD, but for this song, and a few others, I use a Drop A tuning.

We also use Drop G for one song. For that, I drop it down to G. But that is VERY low.
