Great content! Nowadays, all ATMOS theaters have compact ceiling and surround speakers that use just one driver for all frequencies. Back in my hometown, we had theaters with three-way speaker boxes that handled low and high frequencies really well, making the bass feel powerful. All the cinemas had DTS too, and I used to go early just to watch the DTS theater demo. Unfortunately, these days, the sound is pretty flat with no real surround or bass. Still, a lot of people seem happy with it .......

പണ്ടത്തെ തീയേറ്ററുകളിൽ (film projection) dts effect ന്റെ ഒരു punch ഉണ്ട്.. അത് ഇപ്പോൾ atmos ൽ കിട്ടാറില്ല...3D Surround ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടെന്നേ ഉള്ളൂ.. But dts ഒരു സംഭവം ആയിരുന്നു.. But dont know about dtsX

Hai I am a vloger my self yes dts is now known as datasat after it was taken over by datasat im the late 90s and yes it's more immersive than Dolby Atmos , it's true what you mentioned in your video and has been mu doubt since ages there is standardisation in the process in regards to equipment being used the speaker placement ect as you said any theatre claim that it's Atmos as far as I know a proper Atmos theatre will be having a verification from Dolby and I have seen videos of theatre abroad which have lower ceilings than the theatres found here and they have speaker arrays in the ceiling as far I know only Dolby cinemas has the proper Atmos set up because they go by the rules page by page and even in home theatres too Atmos is a mess, according to Dolby you can go about any way with the speaker layout I love auro 3D speaker placement ( which I use in my home ) which is a single layout for all the formats it's a shame that there are no strict guide lines aa to what equipment and what speakers and as to the proper placement of speakers and I am sure it varies from theatre to theatre acording to their size and seating capacity ,good video 😊

Hi, very nice and detailed explanation. Iam curious about the Dolby Atmos height channels speaker placements in a home theater dedicated room setup. As i have seen in many RUclipsrs installations, most of the setups have straight firing ceiling type speaker placements for the .4 or .6 which normally positioned above the main seating top area. Whereas, some videos show the Atmos height speaker placements as Front heights with angled speakers towards the seating area, likewise for the centre height from the top sides angled towards the seating area and the rear heights positioned exactly above the bed layer at the ceiling height angled towards the seating area. So, please request if you can provide some insight about the actual recommended Atmos height speaker placements would be highly appreciated. Thanks 🙏

Recently saw the trailer of a Malayalam movie in DTSX and Dolby Atmos (DTS X was from Vanitha Vineetha and Dolby was from PVR Lulu) Dialogue Track was very low in the DTSX print, but the same trailer was perfect when I watched it in Dolby. What may be the reason ?

Without Bluray player and disk we don't get full quality... Even from lossless files played via laptop. Have you tried the difference. As i heard it will be compressed and played via avr.
I think it depends on the player we are using. I am using Kodi player. Which gives very good out. Didn't tried blu ray withy system before but I have experienced it from somewhere else. Feels similar experience in both. Not sure about the avr comprehension bro.
@@Dyuthi_the_home i am using Plex. It's also capable. But it's not about player they say. As u say lossless, the Bluray rip files. From another youtuber, he says it won't play lossless files directly without nvidea shield device otherwise the avr or audio system will convert it to lossy format and play for us. So only Bluray device with uhd disk and nvidea shield we get full quality. It's a new info for me too and I have done research and it seems legit.

Great content! Nowadays, all ATMOS theaters have compact ceiling and surround speakers that use just one driver for all frequencies. Back in my hometown, we had theaters with three-way speaker boxes that handled low and high frequencies really well, making the bass feel powerful. All the cinemas had DTS too, and I used to go early just to watch the DTS theater demo. Unfortunately, these days, the sound is pretty flat with no real surround or bass. Still, a lot of people seem happy with it .......

Hai I am a vloger my self yes dts is now known as datasat after it was taken over by datasat im the late 90s and yes it's more immersive than Dolby Atmos , it's true what you mentioned in your video and has been mu doubt since ages there is standardisation in the process in regards to equipment being used the speaker placement ect as you said any theatre claim that it's Atmos as far as I know a proper Atmos theatre will be having a verification from Dolby and I have seen videos of theatre abroad which have lower ceilings than the theatres found here and they have speaker arrays in the ceiling as far I know only Dolby cinemas has the proper Atmos set up because they go by the rules page by page and even in home theatres too Atmos is a mess, according to Dolby you can go about any way with the speaker layout I love auro 3D speaker placement ( which I use in my home ) which is a single layout for all the formats it's a shame that there are no strict guide lines aa to what equipment and what speakers and as to the proper placement of speakers and I am sure it varies from theatre to theatre acording to their size and seating capacity ,good video 😊

Hi, very nice and detailed explanation. Iam curious about the Dolby Atmos height channels speaker placements in a home theater dedicated room setup. As i have seen in many RUclipsrs installations, most of the setups have straight firing ceiling type speaker placements for the .4 or .6 which normally positioned above the main seating top area. Whereas, some videos show the Atmos height speaker placements as Front heights with angled speakers towards the seating area, likewise for the centre height from the top sides angled towards the seating area and the rear heights positioned exactly above the bed layer at the ceiling height angled towards the seating area. So, please request if you can provide some insight about the actual recommended Atmos height speaker placements would be highly appreciated. Thanks 🙏

Recently saw the trailer of a Malayalam movie in DTSX and Dolby Atmos (DTS X was from Vanitha Vineetha and Dolby was from PVR Lulu)
Dialogue Track was very low in the DTSX print, but the same trailer was perfect when I watched it in Dolby. What may be the reason ?

Most of the films are mixing in IAB now. So no more content issues. Theater owners can choose DTSx or Dolby Atmos setups. ♥️

Without Bluray player and disk we don't get full quality... Even from lossless files played via laptop. Have you tried the difference. As i heard it will be compressed and played via avr.
I think it depends on the player we are using. I am using Kodi player. Which gives very good out. Didn't tried blu ray withy system before but I have experienced it from somewhere else. Feels similar experience in both. Not sure about the avr comprehension bro.
@@Dyuthi_the_home i am using Plex. It's also capable. But it's not about player they say. As u say lossless, the Bluray rip files. From another youtuber, he says it won't play lossless files directly without nvidea shield device otherwise the avr or audio system will convert it to lossy format and play for us. So only Bluray device with uhd disk and nvidea shield we get full quality. It's a new info for me too and I have done research and it seems legit.
