Thank you for this video. I'm in my final year at university studying mechanical engineering and my project is to design an epicyclic gear reducer for a rear wheel drive automobile. Considering that I'm not good at CAD, this video will be a very helpful guide, so thank you.
Also, is it possible for you to design a 'synchronizer ring or blocking ring' on catia?

I need to get that done for 1 of my modules this semester. I only have 1 month left to do it. I will need to get the design and export it on to adams for the dynamics and ansys for the finite element analysis and stress analysis.

If you're asking for the blocking ring, then I never did that, I instead designed and analysed a key way on the drive shaft...
My project it about boîte de vitesse automatique, so I should to calculate the gear of ratio and realize an example but I have same problems. I don't have a schema or dimensions
@@kaoutharlazreg357 Make them up. As long as you can justify the dimensions, you should be fine and shouldn't lose any marks.
