Alpha Dog with Ben Foster. The scene of Ben Foster having a nervous breakdown looking for his brother at a party, is the single most bad ass action hero performance of any movie. I wish they could have recreated that character in other movies...

My buddy worked on the Star Trek that was filmed in Vancouver a few years back. He did the set decoration. He said he was one of the nicest actors he ever worked with. This looks pretty good.

I'd say this is more of an Amazon Prime level movie, and if you go in with that level of expectation then it's pretty good. Yes, it's nothing new and been done tons of times. Overall, it's a solid movie that should've been picked up by one of the streaming services. I enjoyed it for what it is. A decent thriller with some action, and solid acting. I gave it a 6.8/10.
I had a friend who was a contractor years ago. As far as I know he only did support work but he came home once with a wife from eastern Europe. He packed up and moved to the middle east for a while. Just leaving in the middle of the night another time. Weird stuff like that. He and his brother were special forces in the military. He was a good guy though.

Has he been gone for a long time? It seems like Chris Pine has only made 1 or 2 big films in the last 10 years. I have barely seen him on screen. Hopefully they can keep making these non-franchise, really good action films with him as a central character. These non-franchise movies are a dying breed, and it's awesome to see them made properly with great casting like Ben and Chris.

The chase scene is filmed in Bucharest, Romania, although in post-op it's made to look like it's somewhere in Berlin, with road signs edited with Berlin locations & the Romanian Metro Station (M sign) edited in a U (Underground) to make it in line with the Berlin note. I drove by several days during filming and always wondered what movie it was for :D Good job with the edit though!

The idea of "The Corporation" has been trope central since the 70's. But it's only really been in the last 20 years that the weird line between government and corporation has been made really clear, so this looks like a timely full on action romp that tells a simple story that lots of people might go 'huh, yeah, that whole corporation thing, more true than ever'. Even more than seeing Chris Pine go full on Die Hard, that's something worth making.
Foster and Pine back to back again! They had great chemistry in Hell or High Water. I wish this was a bit more gritty(HHW) instead of the John Wick route it appears to take.
