Pretty sure this is one of those items that could fetch 3,4,5,X the estimate. The 'teeth' design alone adds tremendous value and makes it a ridiculously awesome display piece. Wealthy collectors wanting a truly iconic piece of movie history would be climbing over each other for this thing.
Even not worth much, would be an awesome collectible to have... Having worth so much is just the cherry on top!
$35k is a lot lol
I saw this movie in the theater when it came out! It was such a thrill of the times!
I was 10yrs old when jaws came out and since then id hardley gone swimming in the ocean
That movie certainly scared me out of the water for quite a while, but I loved it! $25,000 is a terrific estimate!
I spent two very dry weeks on Cape Cod that summer. 😆
Wow! I bet Steven Spielberg would pay more than that 🤔
she definitely thought it would be more
Title says Hour 1.. where's the rest of the episode? This should be titled Preview.
I’d never sell that.
Sometimes the items don't even get a bid.... and sometimes they go way beyond the estimate. I wouldn't be surprised if this item either got nothing or got $70 000.
(I base this on all the auctions I've seen: most noticeably- the pair of Bruce Lee pair of nunchaku valued at $2000 which went for a final $80 000! )
I wonder what it would take to get her excited? Crazy estimate and barely a flicker.
“You’re gonna need a bigger boat…”
Has anyone else ever seen a kitchen table made by Nathan Hale? I've been searching for a few years and have never seen another one. I know they went out of business in 1983 but as far as I know, they didn't make kitchen tables.
She would've taken 25k on the spot
doubt it. she sounded a bit stuck up and wanted it to be worth a ton
15 years ago, worth 5k
A very decent estimate of value. Most people have a ridiculous value on their collectibles.
All she would need to do is have Spielberg sign it. That would put it at $75,000 easy.
*A scarce, 50-year old, production-used, artifact and yet it's in **_pristine_** condition but with no pics of him with it from that era?* 🧐
Trust me, it’s real.
Now that is a woman whose mother died and left a lot of medical debt behind. :////
They had a house to sell. Probably worth about a million if you live in California
@@DM5zone I don't understand where you got that they had a house to sell or that California has anything to do with it? This episode was filmed on the east coast.
