    The Tekno is tougher and the Losi is easier to drive due to its ability to develop slop. I’ve had two Teknos for 12 years and still very little slop! They are the best built brand out there.

    I find that the SW4 copes well with the 3S with a 3800Kv (even if it's only the 1406 it seems). I wouldn't have dared. This will give me more opportunity with my two SW4s which have not yet collected dust.
    Very cool playground and video!😼

    Tekno driver here since 2015(?), and imo nobody makes tougher vehicles.
    Or easier to work on and the best manuals in the business.
    I've been racing 1/8 and (some 1/10) for over 20 years and this was some really good footage, nice driving.

    That Tenacity is nice and smooth. I’m thinking about getting TT pro, what kind of adapters did you use to fit 17mm wheels on the TT pro?

    • @rcmachinery1
      @rcmachinery1  Год назад

      they are an inexpensive adapter set from amzn that I shaved down to limit the recess over the stock 12mm hexes, as they will rub the carrier. check out my FB page @rcmachhinery1 I usually post pics, there should be one there, but if not, Ill post one.

      @@rcmachinery1 Cool, I’ll check it out. I ordered a 17mm hex set from M2C racing yesterday for the Losi, supposed to fit the Tenacity line. Hopefully it works for me. 🤞Cheers

    What kind of problems are you seeing by running in sand? It doesn't look like you have taken any special measure to protect the drive train from sand damage. Peter, the local hobby shop owner keeps warning me not to run in sand...I am still going to, spend a far bit of time at the cottage and it looks like a blast.
    cheers, Brian

      it's more like silty dirt when it's dry. Not really sand.
      maybe sand colored dirt. But dirt is dirt, I don't think there is much difference in maintenance. I will say the silt dust tends to stick on everything. Sand actually may be better because it falls off. But Peter is probably concerned with sand or sandy dirt near the beach, as that will contain sodium chloride and high levels of mosisture near the beach.
