Purchased Basalt ST, a Bronco football fan Guess the color, have never been as EXCITED for a two wheel purchase. Road around Denver 5 hours and body feeling great. Matt @Electro Action Supply 4the education on what I was getting, not just a bike! 👍🏾
Do not buy a Mokwheel bike!!! I have had my Basalt ST since February 2 and the bike has had the same problem since day 1. Customer service is horrible. it could take up to a week to get them to reply, hardly ever answer the phone. while they are polite it doesn't negate the fact that as of April 3, bike is still broken. they are now sending new wiring and a new torque sensor.that they want me to replace (I do not have the tools) or pay my LBS to replace, then wait to get reimbursed. Spend your money elsewhere. so much for their warranty
Cant' we cover the grip with leather or wear leather gloves? ;-) The bar read out doesn't take a mathematician to read. LOL. Its like a gas tank. Good lord. Not hard
@@ElectricBikeReport I built several of these for a local EBike shop. They just don't have the fit and finish of the others. Additionally, many have been brought back with controller issues, torque sensor failures and other problems. I think this particular store has decided to no longer sell Mokwheel.
EXTREME BUYER BEWARE: only get this bike or any bike from Mokwheel if you enjoy having an absolute NIGHTMARE of a time dealing with support. There are many other bikes better than this for the

They really outdid themselves. Great bike.

I have the same bike and color!! I think orange looks way better in person👍
excellent informative video. God bless. thank you.
Is the bike that you reviewed a normal or large frame ? How tall are you? I am 6 feet and wondering if normal frame is OK
Where can a spare batt for the basalt st be purchased? 48v 19.6 ah samsung
Mokwheel does not offer it
Does this bike use a Torque or cadence sensor?
Torque sensor
This or Aventon Aventure 2?
So the solar panels make this a very viable choice. Wonder, do they sell the inverter and panels separately ?
They do indeed!
Yes, I have it. And I used it recently when my power in my neighborhood went out for a few hours. Plugged in a light and my fish tank!!
What about the break test?
We didn't want to break it, but we did test the brakes. :)
Nope, nothing broke. 😁

We are experiencing the same. Any brand, regaredss of their stated "warranty," is only as good as its customer service!
Their specs say this bike weighs 68 lbs yet you stated 77 lbs?
It's not uncommon for brands to state a lower weight, which is why we check every bike we test.
Worst customer service ever. My brand new bike has not worked correctly since day one. Takes days to respond to emails. Horrible experience
Even if they did reply it's most likely to no resolution

These are fine bikes but nowhere near the build quality of Himiway or Aventon.
What leads you to say that? We've found all three to do well, often with a lot of overlap in components.
