My husband’s grandmother gave me this recipe when we married in 1973.
I have been using this all of these years!
That’s the way my Grandma and Mom did the okra. It is so easy and delicious! You look great and I love your inspiration.
You are a blessing!!
Isn't it nice that we all have different likes? I bet these are delicious. Keep getting stronger everyday.
I just found this video and your account! Thank you you so much for sharing all of your info, tips and your faith. You are amazing!! Blessings.

I’m doing great! Many people are saying that they haven’t seen me in a while. I’ve been posting cooking videos three times per week at 10:00 am since mid-January. Look for me on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Looks delicious
Thank you angel...
Hi- this looks like a wonderful method - does your liquid remain totally clear in the jar after a few days? Mine is slightly cloudy. Enjoyed your inspiration and direction.
If you water bath you don't have to use vinegar. And you only need to boil for 2 minutes, pints process for 25 minutes, quarts 45 minutes. "So Easy to Preserve" Cooperative Extension The University of GA. Thank you for advocating for safe processes.
Wrong... the recipe in the So Easy to Preserve book clearly states that it is pressure canned not water bathed which is why vinegar is not used.
Good afternoon, enjoyed the okra canning instructions. I printed out the recipe directions to try this out. The one thing I noticed in the video you mentioned on the water bath canning for 10- 15 minutes. On the paper copy of the recipe it has water bath for 15 - 20 minutes. Which one is correct on water bath?
I usually do about 15 minutes.
Thank you for the reply, I will be trying this out next week. love the videos
How do you use this? I am assuming the natural slime is in this. So please give us a video showing uses.
How much water did you put in your pot?
Great info thank you! ❤️Regina
Wouldn’t that over cook the okra if you water bath ?
i have been doing this for years it dont taste like vingar he just know it in there . i know how some of my family if they dont kbnow whats there they like it until they here you say it there not just vingar
Wrong in so many way's, just my opinion, not trying to upset anyone but I go by (NATIONAL CENTER FOR HOME FOOD PRESERVATION) Like I said just my opinion. things has to be water bath or pressure canned to kill botulism depending on what it is.
